The First Tradegy

In this book, you will start reading and feeling a strong sense of pain a sadness because of all the unfortunate events that will happen to the Oswald family, from the start to the end. The family members are Samantha Scott Oswald and Jonathan Oswald, who are the parents, but the children are quite creative, like Elizabeth, an 18 year old girl, oldest of all siblings. Her wonderful and useful talent is music. Everybody knows that she always braids her hair to keep it out of her face when she's inventing a song. Then, there is Gabriel, who is 16 years old. He loves inventing. Then, there is Katherine, who is 13, and she loves reading. And finally, there is Patrick, who is 10. He is the only one who doesn't have a talent, but he wish he could. He loves to pretend to be a superhero.

" I wish I could have a talent, like Liz, of Kathy, or Gabriel..." said Pat with a frown.

"Maybe you"ll have one someday, like every member in the family" said mom, giving Pat a little smile.

They were all sitting in the living room drinking hot chocolate in a cold, cozzy winter afternoon.

"Well, I'm quite tired, so I'm going to sleep now" said Liz with a soft voice.

"Me too, 'cause tomorrow we are going on our trip to mont' Everest, right dad?!" Gabriel said with a tired, but at the same time enthusiastic voice. "Sure kiddo, just remember, set your alarm to 5:30 AM." Dad said with excitement.

"Oh, and Kathy, your limit is 20 minutes of reading, no more, ok?" Mom said worrying Katherine would become angry.

"Ok" Kathy said with a sleepy voice. Then, she yawned.

They all went to sleep, but then, at 1:37 AM, the 4 kids woke up hearing 2 angry voices in the kitchen...

"Shut up you stupid, no-kindhearted man!!" Mom shouted with angry ness.

"You are the one who is stupid" dad said responding in a bad mood!

"Why am I the one?!" Mom asked furiously.

"Because you're the one who said yes to my marriage proposal to you at first, and now I realize that I shouldn't have even dated you!!!" Dad said, hitting the table with his fist.

Tears started coming out from moms eyes, while she was staring sadly at dad. That might be bad, but there is a another inconvenient incident... The 4 kids were standing on the edge of the kitchen door trying not to make a sound while all of the 4 poor children cried in despair because they knew what was coming next...

"You know what... I CAN'T STAND THIS ANYMORE, I DON'T WANT YOU ANYMORE!!!! There is only one thing to do... Divorce...." Said mom.

They all went back to sleep...

The next morning...

"Children, we have something to tell you..." Mom said trying not to cry.

"If it is about the divorce, we already know, and we don't want to hear it again." Said Patrick trying not to cry either.

"Well, we've decided with who your staying" dad said, " Liz and Gabriel are coming with me to London, and Kathy and Patrick are going with mom to New York."

They packed their things, and they said they will stay in touch, so they could do something to unite again. But from that moment on, a bad series of conflicts and disappointments will rise against the Oswald Family.
