My dad dropped me off at the studio because he had to go pick up the boys and didn't want to waste my studio time. I hopped in the booth and started singing my heart out. I sang until I heard the door open. I quick shut out all of the lights in the booth so they couldn't see me.
Z- hey, that was-
I ran out of the booth and outside as fast as I could. My dad was there to pick me up anyways so it was perfect.
Dad- how was the studio honey?
K- it was great. It's so nice to be here.
I buckled up and he drove away. I'm so glad I didn't get caught by whoever it was.
*inside*
Z- I wonder who that was. She was amazing. Hey, do you know who that was in here?
He asked a janitor.
- I'm not sure, kid. She had a pass though so I assume someone important.
Z- hmmm. David is the only person that I know has a pass. Maybe it's a new client. Oh well, I need to find her. Where's that janitor?
Hey! One more thing. Can you show me the surveillance? This is my studio and I have no idea who that was or how she got in.
- look kid, I can get in a lot of trouble if I let you in there.
Z- I'm Zach Herron. From Why Don't We.
- oh my gosh, I'm so sorry Mr. Herron. My eyesight is bad these days. Follow me.
He took Zach down to the surveillance monitors.
Z- she looks familiar, but I can't figure out who exactly it is. Thank you.
Zach ran out of the room to meet the rest of the band.
*Later, Kali's pov*
My dad just got off of the phone with the boys. He has a big announcement for his management company and he's throwing a big release party. Here. At my house. Thankfully my house is giant so I can try to hide from the crowd as much as possible.
I decided to get in the shower since the party was soon. When I got out I did a subtle makeup look and straightened my hair. I decided on a black dress with the sides cut out like triangles. I put on red heels to make myself look taller, considering I'm 5'2. I looked in the mirror and I was content. I headed downstairs to meet all of the guests.
When I got downstairs, almost our whole back patio was filled along with our whole first level. Must be some party. I ran around trying to find my dad. Or someone. I need someone with me because I don't know anyone. Finally, I found Kristen.
K- Kris!!
Kr- hey! You look stunning.
K- so do you, sis.
She had on a white two piece dress with sparkly heels. Her hair was curled and her makeup was a little less subtle than mine. She's obviously the prettier twin, and everyone knows it.
Kr- dad needs you like asap. He's by the stage.
She pointed me in the right direction and I headed over to him.
K- hey dad what's up?
Dad- perfect timing! Stay right there.
He got up on stage and went over to the microphone.
Dad- welcome, everyone! Thank you all for coming tonight for such a special occasion. Most of you know, I manage the very successful boy band, Why Don't We. Well, the company has also decided to pick up a new artist. Now she doesn't know it yet, but she's getting signed and is performing tonight to kick off her career in the spotlight. What you guys don't know is that I don't only have one daughter. I have two. They're twins. Kristen is the one you all know. She's a beautiful dancer and enjoys the spotlight. Everyone, please welcome to the stage my new client, and my daughter, Kali Loeffler!
