"Come on Mel tell me." I nudged him as we walked on the trail.
"I wasn't exactly running away from home just wanted to make more money and Logan would always tell me come to Cali come to Cali I didn't listen to him at first but I had a big blow up with my mom and said fuck it and left." He said .
"Oh I see. Was it good choice?" I questioned.
"Yeah money been coming to me so nicely and I met you." He said showing his pearly whites.
"Whatever I know you still got your little hoes Mel." I said playfully rolling my eyes.
"Hoes ? Man I don't be in to all that I only need one girl don't need no added stress been through that already." He said .
"I bet you did old man." I said remembering he's 19.
He sucked his teeth and looked at me .
"Man here you go don't be mad yo momma had you so late." He said .
"Whatever." I told him.
"Your folks cool though . Must be fun having a big family." He said looking away .
"If you say so . It's hard tryna get attention from my parents they're so busy with the other kids." I said looking down thinking.
"Yeah I forgot about that they still love you and stuff though just try to spend time with them whenever you can." He said picking up a flower putting it in my hair.
"You right . How was life being the only child." I chuckled listening to his response.
We began to talk more and spend time together. Melvin he really got me crushing hard but I don't know how he feel about me. I always feel like a little ass girl because the age difference . I keep thinking maybe he just wanna be bestfriends or something but last night since I was grounded they all went out I wanted to sneak out so bad but didn't I just watched Eva as my mom and dad went on a date .
Jr and the rest of them came back drunk as hell. Mel came in my room to sleep since both of my parents like him he was allowed to stay even tho they don't know we talk. He was telling me how happy he was to have and that he know I'm something special after that he said he fell asleep on me . So I'm still kinda in the middle.
After we walked the trail and feed the ducks, we went out for brunch and went with him to his barber shop so he could get lined up .By surprise he took and sat with me and to get my hair and nails done then hit up the mall and we both had a shopping spree he paid for everything . I had a good ass day since my parents let me have a free pass for being good and holding the fort down.
Coco Jameson :
"Mom I have a question." I said thinking about my actions last night .
"Wassup." She said getting Eva dressed.
"How do you get a guy to like you ?" I questioned .
"Ooouuu so your dating again ?" She said smirking looking at me.
"Not really it's just I'm in a pickle I don't think he want to take it there with me ." I said lying a bit.
"Well don't beg nobody to mess with you it will always be better out there. But just try not to come on strong, don't be nervous, stay pretty and just you know talk and flirt with him and see how he react." She shrugged.
"Okay." I said making a mental note before walking out her room.
I walked downstairs and seen Jr and Kyle in the kitchen.They stopped talking when I came in.
"You know you dead wrong what you did last night." Jr said .
I rolled my eyes and shut the fridge .
"I was drunk I didn't know what I was doing." I said lying .
"All 4 of us know. Melvin had a little thing going on don't matter they not dating and you was all on him like and he told you to stop rubbing all on his shit and stuff." My brother said looking at me in disgust .
"I told y'all I was drunk I didn't know no better y'all know I would never hurt my sister." I said folding my arms over my chest .
"Sure didn't seem like it when you tried to kiss him and say he's to old for her." Jr said mugging me .
"Your not gonna hurt my twin feelings at all we will fall out with no hesitation. You know how she use to be ole boy make her happy and the fam and I like him don't fuck this up." He added before walking out the kitchen .
I looked at Kyle and he shook his head .
"Don't you start judging me too . Kyle now you know." I warned .
"I know you acting like momma right now . That was foul." He said .
"That's your mom not mines and I'm not." I defended .
"Man you know the real you still got her blood running through you. Like I said just watch yourself "sis" ." He said bumping pass me walking out the kitchen .
I groaned and grabbed a banana off the counter and texted my friends for advice. Yeah I did it so what he rejected it anyway . I mean yeah his 19 why he tryna catch a case for Mona ?
