My brothers best friend

Chapter 1

~Skye's POV~
"Get off of me you dim-whit!" I scream at my brother who was sitting on me.
"Not until you give me my phone back!"
"I just wanna know who you are texting." I whine as i hand him his phone.
"You'll never find out." He chuckles and i glare at him as i finally push him off of me.
"Fine be that way." I pout and he laughs at me.
"Oh by the way I'm going on a collage trip for awhile." He says as he looks down at his phone.
"When are you leaving? How long are you going to be gone?"
"I'm leaving tonight and I'm going to be gone for four months."
"Damn that's a long collage trip." I say and he chuckles, "is Ace going?"
"No, he didn't feel like earning the money for it." He answers.
"Of course he didn't. He didn't wanna have to find a job and be responsible." I chuckle when i hear Ace scoff from the door way.
"How rude of you to say that about dear ol' me." I chuckle as i glance at him, "Oh you think that's funny? Just wait until i do this."
I squeal as he walks over to me and starts tickling me, "S-stop Ace!" I say between laughs.
"Say, 'Ace is the hottest guy i know.' " he says as he stops tickling me waiting for me to say it
"Never." I say which causes Ace to start tickling me again, "O-ok fine." i laugh and he stops, "Ace is the hottest guy i know."
"Why, aren't you so kind." Ace teases and i laugh as i push him away from me.
Ace and i have a relationship like a brother and a sister would. We tell each other everything. I tell him more about me than i tell my brother. We tease each other all the time, we fight a lot and we annoy the shit out of each other. I hadn't realized i liked him until i turned my head and looked into his bright blue eyes.
My heart starts beating faster as i stare into his eyes. Ace was so beautiful it was heart stopping. With his bright blue eyes and darkish brown hair. It was like he was carved by God himself.
"Hey Skye I'm gonna head out now." Blake says and i tear my eyes away from Ace's.
"Ok bye." I say as i steal a quick glance at Ace to find him staring at me.
I blush as i look at my phone.
"Please don't kill each other!" Blake yells before he walks out the door.
"I'm gonna go take a shower." Ace says and i look over at him, "feel free to join."
He winks at me before walking away. I shake my head as i glance at my phone for the time. It was seven thirty. I sigh as i get up and head into the kitchen to look for something to eat for dinner.
I decide to make hamburgers and suddenly salad. While I'm preparing food i turn on my music. After i put a couple of hamburgers on the burner i start to cut up some tomatoes and pickles.
A few minutes later Ace walks into the kitchen in a pare of basketball shorts and no shirt.
"Need any help?" He asks and i point to the suddenly salad. He nods and starts working on it. After the hamburgers are done i set them on a plate and take the skillet to the skink and wash it. When i turn around i run straight into Ace's chest.
"Oops sorry." I say as i look up at him he smiles down at me as he brings his hand up and brushes a piece of my hair out of my face. My heart speeds up as he leans down. He turns his face slightly too whisper in my ear.
"You're in my way." He whispers and i blush as I move out of the way.
"Sorry." I whisper as i move away from him. I grab the plate of hamburgers and take it into the dining room and set it in the table before going to grab the ketchup, mayo, tomatoes, pickles and a butter knife.
I set everything down on the table just as the door bell rings. I rush to the door to see Katie and two guys i don't know.
"Hey Assbutt these two weirdos were standing on your step and watching you through the window." Katie says and i frown as i look at the two boys.
"You guys must be Ace's friends." I say and they nod, "Come on in." I sigh as i let them in and shut the door.
I head back into the kitchen with Katie and the guys following me, "Ace, some of your friends are here."
Ace stops stirring the suddenly salad and looks up. His face pales when he sees the two guys behind me. I frown at him and open my mouth to ask him what's wrong. Before i can say anything he gives me a look that tells me to shut up.
I shrug my shoulders and grab a MTN dew from the fridge. Before heading into the dining room to sit down and eat.
"Yay! Food!" Katie squeals and i laugh at her.
After i finish eating i head upstairs and take a quick shower. When I'm done i get dressed in a pair of spandex and a black sports bra. After brushing my hair i head back downstairs.
"I'm gonna head home!" Katie yells
"Okay!" I yell back
I walk into the living room to watch my favorite TV show, Shadowhunters. I frown when i walk in and find Ace and the two guys.
I frown when they all look up at me. I grab the remote ignoring their stares as i turn the nineteenth episode of Shadowhunters on. After awhile the guys leave and Ace heads to his room.
By the time Shadowhunters ended it was nine. I yawn as i head upstairs to my room.
I walk into my room and jump face first into my bed. I'm almost asleep when i hear my door open. A few seconds later i feel my bed dip and someone presses their lips against my forehead.
"What are you doing to me Skye." I hear Ace whisper right before i fall asleep.
