My brothers best friend

Chapter 2

~Skye's POV~
    I yawn as i roll and get out of bed. I grab a tank top that says 'Classy, Sassy and a bit smart assy' on it and a pair of white shorts before heading into the bathroom. I quickly change and then brush teeth and hair. I throw my hair up into a messy bun and grab my glasses before heading downstairs.
    When i walk into the kitchen i see Ace sitting at the island in the middle of the room staring at the counter top deep in thought. When i walk into the room he smiles at me.
    "Good morning Skye." He grins and i frown at him.
    "Morning" i say with a yawn
    "Skye can we talk?" He asks and i frown as i glance over at him again.
    "Ya what's up?"
    "The guys that were here yesterday, they weren't actually my friends." He says and i frown at him.
    "Why didn't you say something?" I ask, "we could have called the cops."
    "If we would have tried to call the cops they would have killed us." He says, "those guys are horrible. They rape girls, kidnap kids, kill innocent people and sell drugs."
    "Why were they here?" I ask
    "A month ago i bought a motorcycle from them and i only payed half of the price. They wanted the rest by the end of the month but i never gave it to them. I told them that the could take the motorcycle back and give the money back to me but they wouldn't. These guys are assholes and they said if i don't give them the money in a week they would take the girl i love, rape her, abuse her and cause her a slow painful death."
    I gasp as i stand up, "Who is she? We have to keep an eye on her at all times." I say as i start to walk past him and to the door. I frown when Ace stops me by grabbing my wrist.
    He sighs as he looks up at me, "It's you Skye. You're the girl i love."
    He pulls me towards him and wraps his arms around my waist as his lips met mine. Almost instantly i melt into the kiss and wrap my arms around his neck as i move my lips in sync with his.
    We pull back breathless. Ace rests his forehead against mine as we struggle to catch our breath.
    "I love you Skye, i always have." I smile as i press my lips against his.
    "I love you too Ace." He smiles as he presses his lips against mine again.
~Time Skip~
Ace and i had been watching movies all day. We were sitting on the couch with me curled up against his side and my head on his shoulder while he had his arms wrapped around me.
    I grumble when i hear the doorbell. I get up and walk to the door opening it to see one of the guys from yesterday. I instantly force a smile on my face.
    "Can i help you?" I ask
    "Umm..Ya i was wondering if you wanted to hang out tonight." He asks
    "I already have plans." I say almost instantly. This guy seriously needs to take acting lessons.
    "Oh ok." He says before he pushes past me and into the house.
    "What the hell?!" I yell at him and a few minutes later Ace runs over to us.
    "Hunter what are you you doing here?" He asks the guy.
    "Carter sent me to kidnap her." he says as he points at me and i frown.
    Why the hell would you tell somebody that you were here to kidnap them! This guy really needs to quit this gang.
    "Oh don't act so surprised. We watched the whole thing between you too earlier. Did you not notice the camera?" He asks in a 'duh' tone, "Now the girl comes with me and there won't be a problem. Got it?"
    "Over my dead body." Ace growls out as he pushes me behind him.
    Hunter smirks as he takes a step toward us, "That could be arranged."
Hunter lunges for Ace and they both fall to the floor as they begin throwing punches at each other. I run out of the house and to the house next to mine to get my Uncle Jackson, who was a cop.
    Instead if knocking j just barge through the door, "Uncle Jackson!" I yell and he comes running around the corner, "hurry follow me!" I yell as i run back outside and back to the house.
    "What the hell is going on in here?" My uncle yells when he sees Ace and Hunter fighting on the ground.
    Both of the guys look up and my uncle frowns as he looks at Ace before looking at Hunter, "Are you Hunter Jason?" He asks and Hunters face pails as he nods.
    "Your under arrest for several felonies. You may never be getting out if jail." I watch as my Uncle grabs Hunter and pulls him out to his police car and handcuffing him before pushing him into the back of the car and driving off.
    I look over at Ace to see he had several cuts on his face, a black eye, a busted lip and a bleeding nose, "Come on let's get you cleaned up." i say as i grab his arm and drag him into the bathroom. I get a cold washrag and wipe the blood away from his face and run back into the kitchen and get a cup of ice before running back into the bathroom.
    "Eat this it will help with your bloody nose." I say and hand him the ice before continuing to look and see if he's hurt anywhere. Once I'm sure he's fine i look up at him to see him staring at me.
    He smiles as he leans down and presses his lips against mine, "Thank you." He whispers against lips. I smile as i press mu lips against his again.
