The water was a murky green color, its treasures open for all to see; 'to marvel at its beauty ' a trembling tribute to the mother from which it feeds. Small rippling waves cover its surface, blurring the eager face fascinated by its findings
Tips of auburn hair gently grazing the waters edge , amber eyes exploring its contents
"Althea ". My fathers voice bounced of the nearby trees ,only moments before he emerged from the green barrier. Eyes meeting over the grassy fields .
"Althea ". His voice filled with a sudden urgency . His feet swiftly carrying him over the fields towards me .As he reaches me , he grabs me in a tight hold, papa was a big man strong and tall as the trees "Althea you know never to near the waters edge , it's too close to the forest " He scolded me.
"But why papa ? " I asked curious as to why I am not to near the forest .
"The forest is filled with unimaginable dangers ".
"But what can be so dangerous? " I questioned again.
"Men aren't the only monsters to fear"...
