Mira^ Part 2

Luna POV
We went to clubs on Friday and Saturday nights, but when summer comes, we go randomly. 
Every student in school knows the "4 Seasons". We were popular but only for being risky about the secret. We only had a few friends outside of our group. Axel was one of them.
Sweet but mischievous, always flirting with us. Cute but annoying. He was always the same though. He always acted as if he skipped class or talked back to the teacher but he didn't. He was secretly a nerd, but you would never tell because he always had a smirk and a raised eyebrow on his face 24/7.
It was Monday morning in Pre- algebra and I was bored out of my mind. We had substitute so we basically had no work today.
"Hey, Luna!"
I turned behind me to see Axel, grinning.
"What do you want?" I said, drawing on his desk with my pencil.
"How's Friday go?" He quickly swatted my hand away and erased what I drew.
I pouted but answered him anyway.
"Like usual,"I said, sighing. I quieted down, and leaned toward Axel, him doing the same. " I didn't sleep with any guys though."I whispered. Axel raised his eyebrow in question.
" I don't know they are all the same. They want the same thing and finish the same way." I shrugged. " I'm getting tired of it!" I whined.
He smirked at me. " The beautiful and sexy Luna? Tired of having sex with random strangers every Friday night?!" He put on an expression of fake surprise and put a hand to his chest. "SSSHHHH!" I shushed him, pushing him away. He chuckled and pushed me back.
"You should come with us," I offered, " You never do. I think it'll be great!"
Axel winced and I rolled my eyes. "Why not, nerd?" I smirked at him."I thought you were the bad boy." He widened his eyes.
" I am not a nerd," he shot back "You are!"
I laughed. "Says the person who is too scared to go to a club." With that, the bell rang and I got my stuff and exited the classroom to find Mel flirting with a guy. David Lockwood, I smirked. He was a fuckboy, always toying with girls hearts.
I walked up to Mel, looping my arms through hers as she was talking. Davids eyes went to me and before he could say anything, I smiled sweetly and interrupted Mel, saying, "Wow Mel! You flirted with so many guys at the club I didn't know you could flirt any more!"
Mel shot me a glare as David suddenly leaned away from Mel, obviously remembering that she sleeps with guys every Friday night.
Mel chuckled nervously and blushed as she caught him leaning back.
"Umm I don't- well I mean I do," she stuttered, looking downward blushing more. "I-I-"
I interrupted Mel again before she could humiliate herself in front of David. "We gotta go David, see you around!" I said as we turned and walked away.
After a few steps away, she whirled on me. "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!" She raised her voice. I was taken back but I kept my face neutral. "I saved your ass back there."I scoffed. People are so ungrateful sometimes, I thought. " What? No you didn't! We were just talking!" She said, as she turned and walked towards her locker. I followed, a few steps behind her."Actually I did." I pointed out. " First of all, did you forget that we go to clubs every Friday night to sleep with guys?"
Mel opened her mouth as she turned to me but I cut her off. " Second of all, he's a fuckboy! Why in the world would you flirt with him? He toys with girls heart! He is the type of boy you DON'T flirt with!" I said, gesturing down the hall to wear they were just standing.
Mel rolled her eyes and walked to her locker. She got her books as I stood there, beside her trying to remember where I go next.
ENGLISH! I suddenly thought.
I have Mel a pat on her shoulder before walking away, knowing that Mel would apologize at lunch for being so clueless.
I smirked at the idea.

I was starved as I walked into the lunchroom and sat down with my lunch at our usual table. Yani was already there texting.
I already knew why she was texting. Yani was the Cupid at our school.
Having boy troubles? Go to Yani, she has the answer.
Can't find a boy? She would set you up  with a boy in under a minute.
I have to admit that she was good at giving advice too.
"What's the problem now?" I asked, peering over her shoulder.
"Some girl thinks her boyfriend is cheating on her and she wants to know how she can find out for sure." she said, mildly distracted.
"Huh" I grunted. That was the usual problem and they advice was always the same.
Mira then sat down beside her, distressed.
"OH NO!" I said noticing that she was sad. I put my head in the crook of her beck and shoulder.(I don't do hugs unless it's needed)
"What's wrong my sweet,little child?" I asked in a motherly voice.
" I got low grade in my test" she mumbled, picking a disoriented fry and throwing it over her shoulder.
"Was it the history te-" I didn't get to finish because she quickly nodded and I hitched a breath and I put my head up.
Mira had failed that class now. Her parents warned her that she needed a good grade to bring up that F in history by it seems like passing was out of the picture.
"What should I do!" She screeched and hung her head.
"It's okay" Yani said, as she smiled reassuringly." Just explain to your parents that you studied for this test but not enough and that on the next test you will get an A."
Mira brought her head up and look at Yani. "But what if I don't get an A on the next test?"
"You will if you study" I said, slowly knowing that Mira doesn't like studying. She hates it so much that when we bring it up she gets mad.
She shook her head. "I'll try to but no promises!" She said harshly and violently ate a fry.
I looked over at the doors to see Mel walk in.
"If it makes you feel any better," I said, grinning., " Mel will come over and apologize."
Yani and Mira both put their heads up quickly, just in time to see Mel sit across from me and look me in the eye.
"Luna?" She asked quietly.
"Yes?" I said holding back an evil smile.
"I'm sorry," mumbled Mel. "You were right! If I would have been asked out by David, I would have said yes but then he would've dumped me by the next day!"
"I told you so" I said to Mel, lifting my chin up and away from her.
"No Luna don't do that! I apologized, what more do you want?" She said, exasperated.
I grinned evilly and liked back at her.
"Kidding."
Mel sighed in relief and got up to get some lunch just as Axel can and sat down with us.
" Luna I think I will take up that offer," he said as he plumped down is tray and they into his chair.
"Really?!" I said almost standing up.
Axel? Axel wanted to go with us to a club?
AXEL WANTED TO GO WITH US TO A CLUB! I squealed!
"What offer?" Mira asked, still a little glum.
"Axel is going with us next Friday!" I squealed
"Really?" Asked Mira. "Little 'ol good boy Axel?"
Axel scowled at Mira and through a fry at her as she laughed and dodged it.
"Yeah I know right?" I said smiling to him. He smiled back but then it faltered.
"Won't I need an I.D. Or a fake one anyways?" He asked, looking at me, then Mira then Yani.
"Yes but we already got you one, remember?" Yani said still not looking up form her phone.
I snickered as I remembered forcing Axel to go and gets his fake I.D.
"Oh yeah" he brightened, "I still have it, it's inside my wallet." He patted his pocket, making a noice of what sounded like a few coins.
Mel soon cane to join us and we told her the news. Mel was soo happy to find out he was going.

Asking Axel to drop me home earlier that day, I climbed into his car and connected my phone to Bluetooth. I played a song but he turned it down. I protested and reached to turn it up but he slapped my hand away.
"Luna I gotta tell you something. I totally forgot!" He said, his face suddenly dropping.
"Okay...what?" I asked, disconnecting my phone from his car. I swear this guy is bipolar,I thought. He changes his mood so often!
" My childhood friends are moving to twin next Thursday and I have to show them around so I can't make it on Friday."
My eyes widened. "WHAT?!" I yelled.
"Yeah I know I know but I can totally go another time?" He suggested.
I shook my head sharply. " Nuh uh!" I said, glancing at him, "Either don't show them around or bring them with us" I said sharply.
Why would he just cancel! I thought agin looking out the window.
"Eeerrre I don't know......... they don't even have fake I.Ds" he said shrugging a he pulled into my driveway.
"Then get them some!" I snapped and Axel winced. I started to get out of the car but I smiled sweetly and softened my voice. " See you tomorrow Axel! Thanks for the ride!" I blew him a kiss and he pretended to catch it and put it on his heart. We both laughed and I instantly regretted snapping at Axel.
I walked into my house, awaiting for Friday to come.
