"fuck."
"Jeon Jungkook! Mind your language please!" He rolled his eyes and pointed them at me with a glare that would have killed, if I was a weak ass bitch.
"I'm very lucky to have this opportunity, and don't worry, PD-nim won't be leaving for good. Because of rumors regarding me being a female, he will still be your manager in the eyes of the public, so he'll go everywhere with us. He'll also be there to make sure I'm doing my job right. However, when you don't have schedules and you want to stay inside, he won't be joining me." The boys nodded, even the four who seemed to hate me already.
Perfect.
"Now, Hyunju, please sit down with the boys so we can eat breakfast." I nodded and swallowed my Skittle, excited to eat some delicious smelling food. As soon as I sat down on the chair, and everyone else had too, it got really loud again. Although, I didn't mind, I grew up with three little siblings.
As we ate, I could consistently feel eyes on me. Of course, they weren't curiosity or anything. The glares bored holes in my head, making me a bit uncomfortable.
Now, the boys didn't have a schedule today, so PD-nim wanted me to just get to know them. Honestly, I'm not excited.
After a long long breakfast, PD-nim had to leave to go do some office work, so I was left alone with the boys. With the boys. Alone. With them. No PD-nim to protect me. See the problem?
A snap in front of my glasses brought me out of my trance, causing me to jump.
"So, Hyunju, why are you our new manager? Trying to find a boyfriend?" I sighed and stood up, although it didn't do much for intimidation.
"I'm married, actually. I'm here to take over PD-nim's job because he will be retiring soon and Bang PD-nim wants you to be able to function without him. I have no romantic interest in any of you, and I'm excited to work with you in a completely professional way." Jungkook sat back down and sighed.
"There's really no getting through to you, is there?" I raised a nicely shaped brow. "What I mean is, I'm pretty sure no one wants you here. You aren't exactly dressed professionally, and your hair makes you stand out. You dress and act as if you're our equals, yet you aren't an idol. I see no reason to give you any respect."
Ouch.
"If you really don't like me, even though you don't know me, please take it up with Bang PD-nim."
"Maybe I will!"
"Do it."
"Maybe I will!"
"I dare you" At this point we were so close that if we were the same height, we would be touching noses. My heart rate stayed balanced, but I could feel his go out of control. I glared up at him before stepping back and coming back to my senses.
"Boys, I apologize for that. Now, if you don't plan on doing anything outside, I'll just be waiting in my car. I see no point in staying somewhere I'm not welcome." I walked to the door, grabbed my red converse, and left. Maybe it's time for an attitude change. Maybe it's time to match my look to my personality
Edgy Hyunju here I come.
