Chapter 3 - Turning Back Time

Finally, we were ready.

Zatanna helped me to create the area where I would revive Wally. They all insisted that I called him that because of what I was doing. Now, we could really begin.

"Alright, I'm ready," I announce to the Team.

"Alright!" -Megan

"Yes!" -Dick

"Good luck" -Kaldur and Connor

"Thank you" -Artemis and Roy

I turn to Zatanna and hand her a paper. "When I begin the ceremony, read this aloud but not beforehand. I will need the barrier specifically this way so that the magicall overflow doesn't harm anyone."

"Count on me then" Zatanna agreed. She'd been called in right when we'd started because she has magical experience. I nodded to her and scanned the Team's faces before speaking again.

"Well then..." I pause and throw them all a grin and a peace sign "Gotta Bolt!" I nod to Zatanna once more and she opens the paper.

"Ekam a cigam llaw dnuora annaillil evol dna erehw ehs si gnikrow os that on eno nac teg ni tub elpoep nac teg tuo dna nehw eht llaw semoc nwod gniyreve ni ti llahs eid" I don't think she realized that what she said was 'make a wall of magic around Lillianna Love and where she is working so that no one can get in but people can get out and when the wall comes down everything in it shall die' of course I did trick her into it. They couldn't reach us now, not even after they'd realized what I'd done.

I set to work on getting back Wally West and focused what was left of my magic on what I knew of him. Soon enough I had created his body which had disappeared when he did, I just had to rematerialize it. Now, I had to do the hardest part, channel Wally's soul into his body and connect the two.

I concentrated for at least a half hour before the soul finally connected. I saw Wally's eyes flutter open before flickering to me. I smile before falling over. Remember when I said that my magic was my life force? Well... I just ran out and I knew it.

Wally's eyes widened as he realized what was happening, he must have read about my kind at some point. He quickly sat up and caught me. This senario had happened only once before, a woman saved a man's life using her magic at the cost of her own life but that man was a metahuman. He kissed her and she lost connection with her magic but gained his powers and lived. It only worked because they were soulmates though. There was a side effect though, the man grew younger, to the age of the woman.

Wally must have heard of this though because my lips collided with his and I felt an energy coursing through me. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kiss him back for a moment before we separate.

"Thanks. I could see you working with them to save me." Wally whispered.

"No problem," I answer him smiling slightly. Seeing as I was still weak and a bit tired, Wally picked me up princess style and carried me out of the barrier.

"I never caught your name." Wally prompted as we passed through the wall and into the light of Uncle Barry's backyard.

"Lillianna Love, call me Lilly." I think for a moment before smiling "Or, since I probably have your powers now, call me Bolt."
