Blood pooled around the two bodies laying on the floor, I smiled staring at the crimson color. I lived on this beautiful thing, my life revolved around it. Delicious blood. My claws were full of murderous acts, and I enjoyed every single one of them. I was a serial killer of sorts. My eyes glowed red, happily fulfilled for the night.

My headache was pounding throughout my head, "Uuuggghhh." A groan seeped from my throat. I threw the sheets off of me and sat up; scratching my head exhaustively. I sauntered to the bathroom, I was heading straight towards relieving myself before I noticed my reflection in the mirror. My black hair stood almost on end, my pale skin seemed to glow, while my eyes were deep crimson red. "Fuck." My head lolled back angrily, I felt around my mouth with my tongue. Yup, fangs. I heard my front door open, shit....she's here.
"Draven? Are you in here?"
"Yeah, I'm in the bathroom." I shouted towards the other room.
That long red wavy hair used to drive nuts, how it bounced as she walked, but now it was only a painful reminder. The click of her ridiculous heels tapped on my hardwood floor as she made her way over to me, "Again?" The tone was condescending, with no hidden distaste as the woman caught sight of my disheveled looks.
A long time ago Airyden and I were wrongfully taken of our lives and now we live in a never ending hell. "Yeah the bloodlust just keeps getting stronger." Her light red eyes could still be seen through the blue contacts she wore as stared deep into mine with concern, but instantly snapped away. "I know, I just can't control it, but at least I kill them instead of changing them too." I raised my eyebrow defensively.
Her sharp eyes snapped back to mine with flaming rage, "Draven! What the hell has gotten into you lately?" Airyden folded her arms underneath her breasts, making them look even bigger, and looked away from me. She was so adorable when she got mad, but I could tell that this time was different. Though I wasn't the only one acting off, Airyden had been distancing herself from me and disappearing for longer and longer periods of time. Her eyes glanced back at me and caught me staring right at her boobs. "Ugh, you're such an ass Draven." She turned stomping her heels angrily, I listened as they clicking further away, leaving my apartment.
It's almost been 150 years since we were changed; this has hard on the both of us, especially her. I shook my head to clear my thoughts to carry on with my morning routine. Mid-brushing my teeth it hit me like a hurtling stone. Today was the day Airyden and I had to go meet the mysterious person who left us a note. We were just getting home from dinner when we found a crumpled note under my apartment door. They told us they knew what we were and if we didn't meet them we would be exposed to the world as the monsters we are. Being a Vampire wasn't too awful as movies always portrayed it, except Twilight...that was god-awful, but it was just hard to adjust. I can sleep if I want by the way, I'm not forced to be awake all the time and no...I don't sleep in a coffin. Though....that would be cool if I could. The only thing true was that I needed blood, blood-lust would take over me and I couldn't control myself. Airyden was so sheltered about being a Vampire it was almost annoying, I wish she would just accept that we're Vampires and give up trying to be human again. It's not like there is anything cool about being human anyway. I could feel the frustration filling my body; stupid bitch made me angry again.
I shook my head and brushed my unruly hair to look at least semi-tamed, then went into my closet, pulling out the first things I saw. Black jeans and a black shirt with a skull on it, I rolled my eyes. "Wow, am I emo or something today?" I pulled on the clothes anyway and went back into the bathroom to brush my teeth. I stared at my freshly cleaned fangs, "I have to get rid of you guys somehow." I shrugged, "Who gives a fuck anyway."
