I must have fallen asleep in the car because when I woke up we were parked in the driveway of the most beautiful house I've ever seen and Aspen sitting next to me staring at me.

"I thought you were dead" she tells me laughing a bit, "we've been here for like an hour now."

When she says that I feel my face heat up a bit, I couldn't really sleep on the plane because of that guy and I didn't get sleep back in New York because I was busy making my great escape.

"Well, then lets go inside, I'm starved, running away takes a lot out of you." I say and crack a small smile as I open the car door. I grab my backpack that was at my feet and she grabbed my luggage as we walked towards the front door of her house. It was 9 now and her house was already loud. I questioned it so much considering I've known Aspen for about two years now and know almost nothing about her life. Funny considering I trusted her to move across the country to live with her.

"So I kind of forgot to mention...." Aspen looks at me and trails off. "My dad is a manager for a boyband and their kind of in my house right now, hence the noise." She finishes smiling lightly as if the thought just crossed her mind and she wasn't keeping the from me for a while. I roll my eyes because one I look a mess and two HOW DO YOU FORGET TO MENTION THAT! She puts her hand of the doorknob twisting it open, the noise amplifying; Jesus how many boys are in this band they're so loud. She peaks behind the door checking if they were in the front room; conclusion they weren't so we bust a quick right and go right up the stairs. She leads me down the hallway to an empty bedroom with a queen sized bed, a white vanity with lights, a black fluffy rug beside the bed in front of a white nightstand with a lamp on top. The room was gorgeous and consisted entirely of a black and white theme; you can say I was in love. It seemed like she prepared for my coming as there were things in here that would accommodate me such as makeup organizers on the vanity, an empty space on one side of the room with a cute backdrop for my youtube videos and even lighting; she literally bought me all this stuff. I turned to look at her with my mouth open ready to tell her that I was so grateful for her when I saw her hands held a huge bag.

"Wha-What's in the bag?" I asked. She pushed the bag towards me as my hands replaced her and I walked towards the clear chair in front of the vanity. I placed the bag between my feet and open it revealing everything I've ever wanted. Aspen. Fucking. Bought. Me. New. Photography. Equipment.

"ASPEN WHAT THE FUCK YOU DID NOT BUY ME THIS STUFF" I couldn't contain my excitement as a ran over to her, hugging her so tight. "Thank you thank you thank you" I spoke into her back. She laughs and pushes me off her lightly.

"Consider it a welcome home gift." She says with a smile as I walk back to the bag of stuff that I will cherish for a long time.
