The ripples in my eyes and the shifting current inside. Constant battle between heart and mind. The whirl-wind of emotions scatter my pieces. The pieces you had left me in. You were the raging storm that took over my calm waters. My sunlight hidden behind your angry clouds and booming thunder. Your lightning blinding me, taking away my color. You took away my horizon. You left me in the dark. But someday my waters will clear. My horizon will return, my colors will come back into focus. The waves will carry my pieces to shore and I can glue them back together. I will not be the tiny grains of sand, but a rock, right in the heart of the ocean.
