It was late december, and July was at her boyfriend, Jackson's, house helping him pack for his forgien exchange student trip.
"Do you really have too go though?" she said, in a whiny tone.
"Yeah, dude! This trip is going to change my life." Jackson said, ecstatic.
July frowned, and layed on his bed. "Its so long though. I am going to die without you."
"We can facetime," Jackson said, optimistically.
"It's ain't the same..." her voice trailed off
"I won't be gone forever... just for winter break." He got up and started playing with her long brown hair.
July's phone went off. 11:54 read the time. It was a text from her mom.
Mom: It's late, come home
"I have to go now." July said. She stood up.
Jackson wrapped his arms around her, as she pulled him in. She was short, about 5'5, so her head layed on his chest. He was taller, about 6'2.
"Don't forget about me. Text me back. Send me pictures. Tell me all about it." July said.
"I'll try, but I dont know about American phone service Britain. I'll get wifi somewhere and snap chat you or something. I won't forget about you."He reassured. He gave her a kiss on the forehead.
He pulled back, and walked her out the door.
"Good bye, I love you." She said, walking to her car.
"Love you too," he replied back, smiling,
She got in her small bug, and left for the short drive home. She snook back into the house quietly, not too disturb her parents, or her little sister.
July opened the door to her and her sisters room quietly. The dark room filled with dim light. Her sister, on the top bunk, rolled over.
July threw her stuff on the ground, and changed into pajamas. Which were basically just an old shirt and underwear. She hopped into the bottom bunk, and fell asleep.
