The Part You Didn't Think About

I went onto Google and typed- 'What is suicide?'

The result- 'Suicide is the act of intentionally causing one's own death.'

Amazing how they could be completely accurate and yet absolutely wrong. It isn't just killing oneself . It's killing everyone around you' and not realising you're doing it. It might be amusing to think "I am alive today, the sun rose in the east and set in the west. I might kill myself tonight and yet the sun will follow the same path. So how does it matter?" It matters because even if it doesn't cause the sun to change its path it will cause a lot of people to change the way they live their lives. And it won't be for the better.

Tell me your dad won't call for you as soon as he comes home, only to realise you would never come running through the inner doors again. Tell me your mum won't walk down the snacks aisle and see your favourite chocolate. Tell me the person next to her won't notice her crying. Tell me your sister won't feel terribly alone when she wakes up in the same bed where the both of you had countless memories of pillow fights. Tell me you're little brother wont walk into the room seeing your mother and father crying over your lifeless body' trying to wake you up and not understanding why. Tell me your best friend won't become a victim of depression, waking up everyday thinking- 'I could've helped'. Tell me the boy  who sat two seats in front of you, who you helped deal with his anxiety won't be left lonelier than ever before, thinking he has no hope.  Tell me they wouldn't think it was their fault. Tell me they wouldn't feel like killing themselves. Tell me lies.

Somewhere there is someone who dreams of your smile,

And finds in your presence that life is worth while.

so when you're lonely remember it's true,

Somebody somewhere is thinking of you.
