NEXT MORNING

I woke up to shuffling, as I saw everyone getting up and eating breakfast. I rubbed my eyes, as I hear bangs on the entrance. I took my gun as I quickly ran to the entrance, being followed by Kian.

I opened the door quickly as two young guys rushed in. I saw a herd of walkers a few miles away, and Kian shut the doors. I helped Kian with boarding up the entrance again. After we were done, I walked over to Austin since he was talking to the boys.

They were panting, as if they have been running for hours. When they tried to talk, their voices came out raspy as they haven't drank water in forever. "Get them water." Austin whispers as I nod my head.

I walk over to the drink section as I get two water bottles and I walk back. I give one bottle to each. The brunette one opened it quickly as he drank it fully in a few seconds, as the other drank half then took a breath and drank the rest of it.

Austin asks them questions as I stand nearby just incase something happens. "Kylie, meet Jack Gilinsky and Jack Johnson." Austin says as he walks over to me. "They're with us now?" I ask him, and he nods.

I talked to them for a bit, get to know them better. They weren't bad people, but again I did not fully trust them.

Trust issues.

We all started to pack so we can find a better/more safe shelter than here. Everyone was basically finished, as they went out to have a little headstart. Although I, was back here just looking around to make sure no one was left behind.

I went out as I saw Kian waiting for me. As we turned to the side, I saw everyone fighting a small herd of walkers. I quickly run to them as Kian follows closely behind. I went beside an abandoned car as I stabbed a walker in the head.

Then one grabbed my shoulder from the back as I turn around, stab it in the neck. My hand was still on it's neck when I turned my head around again, and I shot another walker coming towards me in the head.

I tried to pull my dagger out of the walkers neck but it was hard. I kept trying and trying because more walkers were coming towards me. Once I finally remove it, I stab it in the head and I turn around, soon to fall down after five walkers jump on me.

"Shit!" I mumble loudly as I try to get them off of me. I then hear 5 loud shots as I cover my head with my arms. I was waiting for the moment that the walkers would rip my intestines out and bite me, but instead I was pulled up by strong arms and a deep voice.

"You alright?" I opened my eyes to see Ethan panting and holding me. "Uh y-yea." I say as I look back and saw the five walkers lying dead. "Let's go." Ethan says as he puts his hand on my lower back and we both jog to the rest of the group.

"We meet again haha." Cameron says as she walks towards me and engulfs me in a hug. "Wait you guys know each other?" Austin asks as he looks at us both. "Uh yeah, we met quite a while ago." I answer and she nods, she gets the hint.

"Alright, well I'm guessing you know the twins too if you know her." I nod, except I didn't know Ethan's twin. "Alright guys, he's Ethan, he's Grayson and she's Cameron." Austin tells the rest of the group, as Luna stares at me. I put my finger to lips in a 'hush' position, and she nods.

After we all introduce ourselves, we start walking towards the woods to look for shelter. Cameron walks beside me, "So is your name Kylie or Kassandra..?" She asks. "Kylie. But I just said Kassandra because trust issues haha." I reply looking down.
