{Recap: But, unknown to Minah, one day she would be adopted, and so would Randa and Joey. Minah, along with her three best friends, would unfortunately be separated. But things would turn out great, everything (or at least NEARLY everything) would work out. And now (in the next chapter), is where the REAL story begins!}

Nine years had now passed. Minah had now aged, from six years old, to fifteen years old. She had changed a LOT, appearance AND personality! Minah still had her light, almost pale skin, her hair color, eye color, her eyeglasses, the freckles dotting her cheeks. But now, Minah’s hair was even longer and even thicker, it was about the same length of her shoulders. Also, Minah’s hair had turned from completely straight to a mixture of straight and wavy. Minah also had to get a new pair of eyeglasses, but it was still a cheap pair of glasses from Walmart.

Also, Minah’s personality had changed quite a bit. She had become a bit more outgoing but she was still VERY shy (now she was ambiverted). She had become very playful and comedic. Not to mention that Minah had become EXTREMELY nerdy, upon discovering anime/manga, video games, Harry Potter, and fanfictions.

Since she has changed so much, Minah was almost entirely different, other than her slightly altered appearance. On the other hand, Minahs friends had barely changed, except for a few alterations in their appearances and personalities.

Now, since Minah is currently 15 years old, she is a freshman (9th grader), in high school. She, along with her friends and the other high school level orphans, attended a local high school. Clover Hill High School. It was a very nice school, which prided itself on its excellent students.

Minah attended mostly honors classes, such as Honors AP English, Honors AP World History, Honors Earth/Space Science, Algebra 2, Creative Writing 1, Health/Gym, and Business/Personal Finance 1.

Mary attended similar honors classes. She took English, Honors AP World History, Honors Earth/Space Science, Honors Algebra 2, Art 1, Health/Gym, and Theatre 1.

Next up, Randa took fairly good classes. She attended English, World History, Honors AP Earth/Space Science, Honors AP Algebra 2, Art 1, Health/Gym, and Graphics 1.

Last but not least, Joey attended mediocre classes. He took English, World History, Algebra 2, Honors AP Earth/Space Science, Theatre 1, Health/Gym, and Business/Personal Finance 1.

Life was fairly good, especially since the orphanage had managed to raise enough money to send most of the orphans to local schools.

However, Minah still wished to be adopted. And in 2 years, when she reached 17 years old, her wish would finally come true.
