Chapter I

Aang P.O.V. *

Age Fourteen

I looked down upon the Fire Nation.Heartless were everywhere causing distruction and killing off many people.Those who could bend were trying to hold them back while those who could not just tried to escape with their families but it was all pointless.The heartless were surrounding them and quickly closing in on them.All was doomed but yet as the heartless close in I will tell you how this came to be.

A year ago

I whistled as I walked down the path with Aapa by my side and Momo on my shoulder.We just got sent out today to collect berries and after hours of picking we were finally done and heading back to the air temple.However when we reached the air temple what I saw broke me.

A huge cloud of black smoke covered the once clear blue sky.There were buildings still in flames and some burnt down completely.Bodies lay on the ground burnt from completely to just partly.It was a true massacre that only the Fire Nation could be behind but why did they?We were at peace.

As I pondered the question Aapa let out a groan.I turned face him as he let out another groan before walking over to somewhere and grabbing a notebook off the ground with his teeth.

"Good thinking Aapa this might have been belonged to a Fire Nation warrior."I praise Aapa before going over and grabbing the notebook from him.It kinda is ruined from being in his mouth but I still can make it out.

If anyone finds this just know that the Fire Nation has changed.It used to be about finding the strongest amoung us and making them King but things have changed when Firelord Ozai heard from other dimensions of the Avatar residing in one of the nations.Fulled by fear of the Avatar he sent troops upon all nations to kill him or her but for now we only taken down the Water and Earth Nation with no sight of the Avatar but tomorrow we will take the Air Nation and finally find and kill the Avatar.To whom is reading this tomorrow will be the day.

Shock was all I felt at first,the sadness from other nations falling along with my own,then finally angry.Angry that the Fire Nation would kill all these people just to get the one thing everyone feared away.However it is not just them who did this no the other dimensions told them I was here setting this in action and for that they must pay.Yes they will pay with their lives.

That is why I am here watching as they finally all die below me and the heartless disappear.Now I know that I could try to repeat this process for the other dimensions but I have a better punishment for them.

Slowly I smirk as my Avatar state ativates and I use it to seal me and Aapa and Momo in a iceberg.
