Fire. Air. Water. Earth. These are the four elements. For over ten thousand years, we have learned how to bend these four elements. And in every generation, there is always one who can master all four: the Avatar. In each generation, the Avatar has always been the one to bring balance to the world.

I never thought we'd make it so far. When I first left to find the Avatar, I imagined my mission would take a lifetime. But it was only a mere three months after I met Jago. Now here we are, gathering strength to challenge the Order of the Sun.

Now that Jago has regained confidence about being the Avatar, there's a lot of things he's got to do. Of course, part of this has fallen to me, as there's no one else to finish Jago's Firebending training. He's learned a lot from my late uncle Mokota, and I'm going to finish what he started.

But that's not the only thing I have to worry about. With plenty of effort, we've sent a broadcast to the world informing them of Kuzon's return. I am glad it worked out, but it wasn't a foolproof method by any means. For all I know, no one believes what they heard. It might end up being just us against the Order of the Sun. Not that we can turn back now, not when we have a chance to save my country.

Akosha slept better last night than she had in a while. She'd gone to bed after a very satisfying training session with Jago. They had just started working on the more advanced move sets, and Jago was learning well.

Akosha had the feeling she knew one of the factors to Jago's fast learning. She wondered whether her uncle was preparing to teach Jago these move sets before he had died. However, thinking about her uncle made her happy too. He'd done a fine job teaching the Avatar, and each day of training made her feel great about continuing his legacy.

What was more, it was very important for Jago to be a fast learner. In just a day's time, they would be arriving at the royal city of the Fire Nation. They were going to have to get the Order of the Sun out of the city, like they did in Ba Sing Se.

Not that they could go about liberating her home the same way they had with Ba Sing Se. It was going to take more than a recording to take control away from the Fire Lord. That was why Akosha had gone to the effort of finding her long lost friend, Prince Kuzon.

Back in the Earth Kingdom, they'd managed to inform people of Bouldrax's criminal ties, allowing Zinatsu to gain favor with the people. If they were to remove Yao Tsung from his position of Fire Lord, someone with a legitimate claim to the throne had to challenge him. Until now, people had thought Kuzon was dead, but now that word had got out that he was still alive, people were sure to question Yao Tsung's position as Fire Lord.

Speaking of Kuzon, it was him who had caused Akosha to stir. She opened her eyes to see Kuzon pacing back and forth beside the albino dragon Magmor. Her pet eagle dove Kasso was rustling his feathers as he perched on Kuzon's left shoulder.

"How you doing?" Akosha asked in greeting.

Kuzon turned with a start to look back at Akosha, then looked down at the ground. "Yeah, it's hard to believe we're almost there. Closer to the palace, and him."

"I know what you mean," Akosha said with complete sincerity.

Akosha may have lost family in the Fire Nation when the raiders attacked. However, it was on the way out of the royal city where Kuzon had lost his parents. And just like that, the future of the Fire Nation had changed. The legacy of prosperity Fire Lord Zuko started was at stake.

Before Akosha could think of anything else to say, she turned to see Jago and Kyoshi both starting to stir. As Jago stretched his arms out, Kyoshi yawned widely, some of her hair cascading over her face.
