It's been 3 weeks since I first met Aspen

She's all the things i've dreamed of having in a girl; compassionate, caring, warm, ridiculously funny, witty, smart, loving, responsible, honest and drop dead gorgeous.

I've been on a total of 9 dates with her. Each one was totally different and was more and more amazing as I got to know her.

First date: Aspen and I got tacos at a spot in West Hollywood.

Second date: I taught her how to surf in Malibu.

Third date: We hung out in her sorority and watched movies.

Fourth date: I took her to Griffith Observatory and we had our first kiss.

Fifth date: We took a salsa class

Sixth date: We went on a hike and Aspen got too tired so I carried her

Seventh date: I got into a fight with a guy at the bar in a Mexican restaurant because he flirted with Aspen when we're getting margaritas

Eighth date: I took her to Urth Cafe so she could get "aesthetic" ig pics

Ninth date: I took her to meet the team

We never ever talked about what we were. At this point I just assumed she was my girlfriend because we practically spent every second together when we weren't in classes, or I was in practice or with the guys.

Aspen and I were sitting under a huge oak tree in between classes. We were both studying for the upcoming tests we had coming up.

I glanced at Aspen. Her pretty brown eyes were skimming her note book. Eyebrows furrowed in focus and her nose was scrunched.

As if she felt my stare, her eyes met mine. Her gorgeous face softened. A pearly white smile touched her lips.

"What?" her light voice asked me.

"Just admiring the view" I hummed and she laughed and lightly punched my shoulder. She shook her head and went back to her studies.

"Hey, asp?"

"Yea?"

"What are we?" I asked nervously. I ran a hand through my hair, a nervous habit. She froze and gave me a confused look.

"What do you mean?" She replied

"We've been on nine dates. So am I your boyfriend or are you seeing other people?" I really hoped she wasn't seeing anyone else cause I might just bash their heads in.

She sighed, "No, i'm not seeing anyone else. And I don't know what we are." She told me and a weird weight was lifted off my shoulders

"Okay ill make it easy, you're my girl and no one else's. Good?"

She smirked and nodded, "Great."

Next thing I knew I practically tacked her and wrapped her up in my arms.
