I scowled at him, wondering how in the world I can escape him. But no, I needed this job, and a little part of me knew; I needed him too.

"Now, secretary, go feed my dog." Asshole.

Stephanie POV

It was light out, the sun was just over the horizon and I turned to look at the clock. 8:00 P.M. On the dot. I groaned, stretching out in my large, queen-sized bed. What on earth happened last night?

All I remembered was hallucinating Jamie in some alternate reality, then throwing up. Hopefully, they both didn't actually happen. But considering the fact that my mouth reaked with foul odor, I knew one of them had to have come true.

I got out of the bed, my party clothes were gone and replaced with a pair of sweats and an over-sized t-shirt. I was starting to get nervous about what happened last night. For me, drinking always meant sleeping with someone. It just happened, but I never knew why. What if I walked out the door to see some hairy, fat, old man? Just thinking of it, gave me the jitters.

Sure enough, my thoughts were correct. Well, kind of. In front of me, coming from the restroom, came Harris. Oh my God, I thought to myself.

Surprisingly, he had a fit body, his half-naked body showing a hint of a six pack. I didn't even know what to say.

"Um, hi? I'm guessing you're Harris?" I raised one eyebrow at Stacy who had appeared, leaning on her doorframe. She was wearing a lacy nightgown, nervously flicking her eyes at me then him.

"Long story, Steph. I'll talk to you later about it," she whispered aside to me, while taking his hand and dragging him into the room.

"Okay, cool. I'll be downstairs, lovebirds!" I yelled out, causing Stace to narrow her eyes at me. "Have fun..."

With that, I walked downstairs, my headache intensifying through each step of the way. Even my brain felt like it was being fried to the core. I rummaged through the medicine cabinet to find some thing to cure, (at least some) of the hangover. After minutes of searching through, I finally found the perfect antidote. Tylenol. The best way to rid a headache.

It was only half past eleven when I trudged upstairs to get ready. It was a good thing my shift started from 1 in the afternoon till 1 in the morning. Couldn't be that bad, right? As long as my boss and I got along fine...Stacy even told me there'd be nights where I had to sleep in the office, due to late night assignments for business, night phone calls, and business agreements.

Oh, she knew all about the company. It was probably the most famous beer producer next to Budweiser. Her friend got fired from the job after trying to take a break too long. Maybe the job wasn't as great as I'd expected, but as usual, it didn't matter - what mattered was, I had to get the money.

The clock rang around the house, signaling it was noon. There wouldn't be any time to organize myself at my best, but with the headache ringing in my mind, I couldn't have cared less if I look good or not. I took a quick shower and brushed my teeth, wrapping myself in a towel. I quickly plastered some make up on, some blush to make my cheekbones higher, and eyeliner with a tint of lipstick pasted upon my buttom lip. The only jewelry I put on, was my ring and a small diamond necklace. I had to be pretty on the first day, right?

By the time I was done getting dressed in a business suit: a collared blouse, a blazer, and matching skirt; it was already thirty minutes till one. The room next to me was filled with awful noises of moaning, groaning, and grunting. I guess I couldn't say bye. Nor did I want to. It gave me shivers to think how young Harris was compared to Stacy. He looked twenty at the most, there was no way he'd be twenty-four. But then again, I saw Jamie last night, so who was I to judge?
