Guards P.O.V.
Year 1475alt
     "Where could she have ran off to this time ...", Tobias asked, obviously just as bewildered as we were. Princess Annabelle had ran off again, her purple teddy bear in hand. The kingdom had long known that she had a knack for stuffed animals.
    Her room filled with all kinds, each with their own distinct names and "stories" as she called them. But "Beary", as she generically called this one, made her go crazy with joy and ransack the kingdom.
"Yoo-hoo", she beckoned to our patrol from the rooftop of a near by building.
"Ms. Annabelle! Get down this instant!" Giovanni had barked at her. Apparently Giovanni attended her birth and has cared for her ever since. The king ordered him to lead this patrol.
"Never!!!", she yelled, slipping a candy bar out from within her pocket. She decided to run off again. We were in for a heck of  a ride being her security detail.

Four years later
Annabelle's P.O.V.

"But why dad?"
"Because you are weak enough as it is, candy will just make you weaker."
"Well what if I don't see a reason to be strong?"
"... Then you are of no use to me young lady."
That one stung
"Well someday I'm gonna make a kingdom where everyone can be happy, and buzz kills like you don't exist!"
Slap
"Shut it you engrate"
After that.. I ran away to my aunt Claire's house in New Paris
No more security detail or Dr.Buzzkills antics
Just me and beary.
It was fun after that.
My Aunt would always make bear shaped cookies for me. They looked a lot like Beary
She called him psycho because they made me do wild things.
A had her dye my hair dark purple to symbolize her love for them.
Until...
One night, she had woken up to a loud scream. She grabbed her bear and slowly stepped towards the door. She took a peek through the keyhole and froze. She saw her aunt bleeding out on the floor with guards from the royal palace looming over her. Asking her were I was.
Her last word crept up to her ear like a serpent.

"Exécuter mon enfant."~Run my Child
