The country side flew past me. Dark Images of what had occurred flew through my head. I had been dreaming of this day since the moment I was certain on killing my father. Just as when I had killed my first victim, I was calm and felt a feeling of silent fury torment me. Steamy tears fell from my eyes like rain.

Even if I was here to destroy it, I missed my home, and now I can come back with a clear conscious.
I was sailing on Melios V, the fifth and last train recovered from before the big bang era. Apparently, the old world had tons of these and other advanced technologie, now the only things that survived are scrap metal and damaged machines.

Me, and my army of rebels from the last countries left standing, were staging a coupe d'etat on Neo France to give the countrymen and women back there homes. We were the only salvation for those who have been terrorized since 1409.
We had gather crossbows, trained in basic magics, and even traded with the black market for these new discoveries called guns. But we still were not confident .

For all we knew, this was the biggest empire to ever exist in Neo Earth, maybe the entire history of Earth.
But we had a strategy that would surely take that empire and my stupid father down, we would attack the capital. If we won there, we would in turn weaken the surrounding area. Then we could gather rebels there and fight from the inside out.

I was wrong.

As soon as they saw the train on the out skirts troops were pouring out of the capital. My men fired the crossbows and some guns. The troops dropped like flies with only three casualties on our side. We were winning.

Wave one:done

We had been planning this for years. Men I had sent to the capital posed as construction workers built cheap "rail" made of some scraps and stone for the train to go around the capital and some inside on streets we were least likely to get shot or slashed on. My technician modified the train to sort of "bump" its way off tracks to switch to different roads.

We were ready, I hope.
