Soo-Won
_____I gently lie the eldest princess on the futon, while the sun was setting rapidly around us. It was almost time.
I sadly smile at her, realizing all the pain she will be in when she awakes from her forced slumber. I rake my hand through her soft honey hair. "I've always adored you, Aki." I whisper. I've always though she was beautiful, ever since we were young.
I stand up, knowing that I must take action very soon. I'm sorry, Aki, for what I am about to do. She must never know that I'll be the one to pierce her fathers heart. I can't bear to lose her, for I may lose the other princess, possibly Hak, for the action I must take. She must stay by my side.
I close my eyes, taking a deep breath. I let go of all the emotions for the royal family. This is something I must do. Something I've planned for years. I will not back down, but I also must not hurt Akira, She is too valuable. As I open my eyes, I feel nothing. No emotion. Just as it should be.
I grab my sword, take one last look at the princess, then walk into the dead of night. A small smirk makes its way to my lips. I think it's about time I pay the king a visit.
______
I walk into the King's room, full with bright burning candles, while purple drapes line the walls. I hide the sword in my robe, as I catch the mans attention.
"Oh, Soo-Won!" He turns, his back now facing the large window. "It's rather late. Is there something you need?" He smiles happily, seeing as he trusts me. I'll wipe that smile off your face, coward.
I continue to walk towards the king. "Yes, you have something I need."
He sighs. "If this is about Akira's hand in marriage, then I cannot give you what you need. You know your answer."
I shake my head, stopping in front of King II. "No, no. This is something different." A smile graces my lips, as a clap of thunder flashes through the window beside us.
"Then speak up, boy." His eyes meet mine.
I smirk once more, leaning into the king. "You see, I take what I want. One of which including Princess Akira." I whisper.
The kings eyes widen slightly, his face turning to a state of confusion. He opens his mouth to reply, but in that quick moment I bring out the glistening sword and strike him in the heart.
