It was six years ago, I was staying at a hotel in a small town just outside Ohio. I did everything that I usually do in the morning, when I heard about this myth.
The myth was, years ago a young woman went missing, no one ever found her body... but they say that if you go to her house, knock on the door, and say hello is anyone there? Then she will say, yes, come in please. But no one knows what happens to you when you come in.
At the time I thought, "that's just a myth it can't be true." So I kept on going with my day as normal. I came across a small home with one small window in the front. I walked past the home not thinking it was important.
The next day I walked past the same house but this time someone walked next to me. He dared me to knock and ask if anyone was there. I asked him if that was the house where the young women disappeared, he nodded.
Being only seventeen I agreed and did as told, but when I knocked and asked if anyone was there I heard someone or something say "hello please come in I haven't had anyone visit me in years." I was terrified that someone answered I turned only to find the man gone.
I turned back to the door and saw it was opening. A creature came out it was a corpse of a young woman. I ran for what felt like forever until I got to my house. Right when I got home I packed my things and left.
