Chapter 3

Kat's POV

"Now what do you want Dean? I'm pretty sure you and your brother can handle this alone" I said as I zapped right behind Dean with Alex hiding behind my leg "Oh god, I don't think I'll ever get used to that" Dean chuckled nervously clutching his chest "Uh uh"

"Who's the kid?" Dean asked me "His name is Alex, Alex this is your uncle Dean" I introduce "Uncle...? Kat, what's going on?" Dean whispered "Hey Alex, can you wait here a little while I go talk to Dean?" I crunched down to Alex's level "Yea" Alex nodded.

"Alright listen up Dean-O, just a couple minutes ago, this kid's dad killed his mother, I had to do something, dad got turned into vamp, I killed him..and well Alex asked me if I could be his new mom and well he's just so adorable I couldn't leave him in a damn orphanage, it shattered my heart.." I explained to Dean "So you technically just adopted him? No paper work?" Dean questioned "Pretty much.."
"Okay."
"Okay...?"
"Yep. Okay, seems good"
"What about hunting?" I asked "We'll figure that out, I'm sure we'll be able to protect him...I mean maybe take him to Bobby's sometime" Dean suggested "No" I hissed "Look Kat, I know Bobby was a douche towards you an-" I cut off Dean from talking any further "No Dean, that man still hates me, he's been hating me since the day we first met, and you know what? I don't even know why he hates me, do you? Because I'm pretty sure I don't have a darn clue, I tried everything to stop him from hating me, but it didn't work out. When he found out I was this creature...he- he hated me even more! You know how much that hurt me Dean?! I looked up to that man. And that's what I get for it. Alex is not going near him. You understand?!" I yelled at Dean but not loud enough for Alex to hear. "Yes, I understand..I'm sorry" Dean whispered hugging me "It's okay" I mumbled "By the way where's your brother?" I asked Dean "Kat..he's your brother too, you know he didn't really meant what he said and library.." Dean sighed "I know, I know...its just..I always thought of you guys as my own family, including Mary" I whispered "Hey, its okay, no chick flick moments remember" Dean said "You're right, I forgot, my bad now come on, go talk to your nephew."

Dean's POV

"Hey kiddo" I smiled down at Alex "Hi" He whispered shyly "So, Kat's your new mommy huh?" I chuckled as I sat besides him "Yes! She's awesome" Alex cheered smiling brightly "She is, isn't she" I laughed "Is she your sister?" He asked glancing up at me.
"She is, she's my little sister, who I look up for dearly with my entire life" I smiled ruffling his hair "Do you like cars?" He asked me "I indeed do, little buddy, actually I own one, wanna go check it out?" I asked him "Yes please!" He hollered standing up on his feet "Alright, just go tell Kat so she doesn't worry" I told him as I motioned him toward Kat who was in the kitchen making dinner I'm guessing "Mommy! Mommy! Can I go outside with Uncle Dean to check out his car? Please!" Alex practically begged Kat.
"Sure thing, just don't wonder off, ya got it?" Kat smiled "Okay, thanks mommy!" Alex screamed as he ran to my open arms. "Let's go!" I cheered as I ran out of the room with Alex in my arms.

"And this is my car!" I exclaimed as we made a halt in front of my baby "Woah, is that a 67' impala?" Alex asked shocked written all over his face "Huh..you really know the brands don't you kid" I chuckled "I love it! Its cool! Do I ever get to go on rides with you Uncle?" Alex questioned "Of course! Now let's go back inside, yeah?" I asked Alex "Yes"

"Alright how old are you?" I asked Alex
"4 and a half"
"You like music?"
"Classic rock mostly"
"You're the best nephew in the whole world! Jesus!"

Sam's POV

"Hey Dean I'm back!" I yelled out as I unlock the door to our surprisingly big motel room.
"Dean! Whe-" I stopped talking as soon a I heard a Childish giggle. "What the hell..Dean!" I yelled drawing my gun out.
"What Sam?!" Dean yelled out in annoyance "Uh Dean.. There's a kid in your room" I said "Obviously I know that Sam" Dean stated as the little boy hid further into Dean's chest "Who's he?" I questioned "Alex, Alex this is Sam your other uncle" I heard Kat say. Turning my heels I see Kate standing by the doorway. "kate.." I mutter "Hiya Samuel" She forcedly smiled.
Samuel....
She never called me that unless she was pissed, I mean I couldn't blame her after all. "We'll leave you two to talk, Come on Alex" Dean said before walking out with Alex.

"So a kid huh?" I chuckled "I adopted him"
"You left yesterday" I stated "Things happen like a flash"
"Look Kate I know you're pissed-"
"No shit sherlock"
"Look just listen to me, okay?"
"Whatever. Go on"

"Look I know what I told you yesterday was wrong, really really wrong. And I'm sorry, I know that for all this years you have just been looking up for Dean and me, I apologize, adopted or not, you're still my little sister, I love you and I hope that one day you'll end up forgiving me for everything that I have done wrong...including not telling Jessica about you..I am truly sorry" I said "Alright, Sammy..I guess I can forgive you..but you're still a bitch" She smiled making me laugh "Yeah, yeah"
"Bring it in big brother" and just like that we hugged.
