"Sarah!! I'm coming my love!"
I sprinted down the hallways of the hive, eager to find Korari and rip her apart to find my Sarah. I continued down the long and winding hallways until I reached an open cavern deep within the Hive, I glanced around checking for any Kyaasktic in view. I didn't see any, but its hard to tell because the cavern streached far back, past my range of sight, stalagmites and stalagtights stretching out along the top and bottom of the cavern. A narrow path lay in between from where an old stream used to trickle in from a hole in the roof. Cautiously I walked along the path, trying not to make a sound as my feet hit the sand covered old stream bed. Tasha wasn't as cautious as me, she stayed a few feet away ocasionally straying from the path to examine the giant stalagmites jutting out of the floor.
We reached the end of the cavern the stalagmites and stalagtights ended about 10 feet back. The back of the cavern was black and watered trickled down the walls ending in little pools that laced the floor. I looked along the back wall looking for a way out, I didn't see one.
"Hey Mike, come look at this."
Tashas voice was a questioning tone. I walked over to where she was standing. Infront of us was a large pool that looked like it streached down forever. I stuck my hand down in it and there was air down there, past a three inch layer of water. Like a bubble of water was caught in the hole, too light to sink and too heavy to float.
"Me first?"
"I sure as hell am not going first Mike."
"I'll take that as a yes."
Carefully I sat on the edge of the pool with my legs and feet dangling down in it. Slowly I began to slide into it and then jumped down in.
"Are you alive? Are you hurt? Should I jump down now?"
"I'm absolutly fine, and no shit you should jump down Tasha we don't have all day!"
"Fine, whatever, I'm coming."
Tasha jumped down and I began setting up sleeping bags, so we could rest a while. Laying down in the cave beneath the bubble of water opposite of Tasha, I gazed at the ceiling. It started spinning, twisting and curving every which way, confusing my mind and setting my eyes in a turning trance. My head ached and my body went stiff. I felt the world get colder around me, colder than it already was. My blood didn't run fast in my body, it was thick and slow. Like honey, or tar. The world was fading, everything was loosing color and had a grey haze over it. I blacked out.
"Mike? Mike wake up!"
I woke up, my eyes were blurry and my limbs felt heavy. I grunted as I attempted to sit up.
"Everything looks back to normal mike. Your hair, eyes and skin are all back to normal color."
"I went crazy didn't I Tasha? I... Oh god did I hurt you? Did we find Sarah? Did I hurt her?
"No we didn't find Sarah, and no you didn't hurt me. You could hear Kyaasktics speaking and they talked of Korari."
Korari sparked a memory. Everything from when I wasn't me flooded back.
"Korari! She has Sarah! We.. We gotta find her!"
"Mike just calm down. We have go get out of here first."
I look around and spot an exit. The smell that was so faint before became stronger as we approached the exit.
"I think this leads deeper into the hive." I walked into it and came upon a large room. In the middle was a large throne. I walked up to it and someone walked in from a hidden side entrance.
"Mike?"
