A new friend

It had been a few weeks since that incident with Logan, Alexandria no longer thought about the incident she had been too busy since she had become friends with James. It was the same night of that incident when he had found her out on the apartments patio area , he showed her kindness by putting his coat over her and lending her his shoulder. They talked till daybreak, it was since then that they became friends. After that night they either met up on the apartments patio area after work or they went out to have fun to new places when the had no work. Olivia was glad she liked that Alex could keep Logan off her mind ,but she sometimes found herself feeling like she would lose Alexandria someday if this continued. James was getting closer to his goal , but he felt this mission would bring him unwanted trouble. The three had made plans to go to the amusement park. So they went to sax flags, when they arrived Alexandria ran through the entrance to the snack store and came out with chips ,candy ,and other snacks. "Wait! You're going to get super hyper, don't do it" screamed Olivia at her friend while James just stared in confusion and asked" wait why cant she have candy?". "Because the last time she had this much sugar she ended up with a broken arm after she tried racing down a steep hill with a bunch of bicycle riding men in exchange for more candy, she also gets kinda irritable and she wants to fight everyone close."Olivia said while trying to take Alexandria's candy stash."you're too late, haha I already ate three packs of gummy candy" said Alexandria while smiling. James just stood nearby laughing at the two
idiots as he forgot his mission for a few enjoyable moments. They all stopped and turned as soon as they heard a voice say "James is that you, omg it is" the girl walked towards them she was the prettiest, a petite girl with green eyes and strawberry blonde hair. "Kate?" He responded "yepppppp thats my name don't wear it out" she responded while going in for a hug. Olivia and Alexandria just stood there shocked that James actually treated someone kindly, when James saw their shocked expressions he explained " This is my best friends younger sister I changed her diapers sometimes when she was a baby" "heyyyyyy , don't tell people that you're only 8 years older plus i'm 20 now all grown up" Kate said annoyed by his words. She turned towards the two girls and said " Kate Marie Herschel, how do you do?" Alexandria and Olivia looked shocked after hearing her last name as they spoke in unison " Herschel!?"as they continued talking ,little did they notice the girls brother walking up to the group "wait is your brothers name Kay?" They asked Kate "why yes, yes it is. Do you know him?"she answered "we do he's actually Alexandria's ex boyfriend, who left her after he started becoming too possessive over her, leaving her was his way of stopping this as he knew he couldn't help himself when he saw her with Logan." Said Olivia "Its been a year since I last saw him." Continued Alexandria until she was cut off by a voice "Alex?" she recognized that voice....it was him. The man that had left her as she had started to love him, the reason her and her friend had gone drinking that night....the reason her friend would have a scar for life..because of you she thought as tears started to sting her eyes as memories clouded her thoughts...there she stood in large area yet she felt as if she was enclosed in a tiny box. It was supposed to be fun coming here yet it quickly turned into a nightmare.
