The Silence

Caleb's POV-

This woman is infuriating, I explained my situation and she doesn't even seem to give a fuck. I need some time to process this...maybe...I can trick her. I ask, "What's your name? We've seemed to have skipped introductions.", she responds snidly," Why would you want my name?... I guess I could give it to you only because you gain nothing from it.", as she began to say her name a ringing came from somewhere. She picks up her phone and starts talking to a random person. Her facial expression seemed to change ,but then it went back to it's usual icyness.

Unknown girl's POV-

"How could this happen and at a time like this?", I thought to myself. The person who called me was Mom, she barely ever was a kind person, but when she called me she tried to break it to me nicely that my Dad just passed away. When I heard the news my body seemed to have tensed up and my heart felt like it was ready to burst, yet I tried to put on a poker face so that this demon couldn't see my sadness.

Caleb's POV-

"Is this human ok?", I thought to myself, then almost as if she could hear my thoughts she spoke agian, " My name is Lil. What is your name, demon?", I answered,"Caleb, bitch". When she heard the little side comment I made she began to try to punch me several times and I dodged almost all of them except one to the stomach. She punched me so hard I could feel my insides bleeding. I whimpered and grabbed my stomach in pain.

Lil's POV-

"Look who's the bitch now!", I said to the demon as he started bawling. I couldn't help, but to laugh my ass off at his crying.
