3rd Person POV

The girl awoke in a dark building, oddly familiar to her.

"Where am I?" She asked.

She took a few steps forward, in a daze, she looked around. Suddenly her eyes widened, she looked ahead and broke into a run.

"No, no, no!"

She ran ahead to where two bodies lay still, blood trickling down both their faces. Tears formed in her eyes as she got near to them, she recognized this couple.

"Mom! Dad!!" She yelled out in desperation.

She ran to their side, openly sobbing now, she shook them both, frantically trying to wake them.

"Please wake up! Please!" she pleaded.

One of the bodies moved, the slightest bit of movement. The male figure. She stopped shaking them, his eyes were now open, his deep blue eyes filled with pain.

"Kizumi....." He managed in a weak voice.

"Dad what happened?!" She asked with a shaky voice, no answer, "Dad?!"

"Goodbye...take care...of your brother." He managed to speak, his final words.

Then gave her a weak smile, the smile was filled with sorrow and regret like he didn't want to leave her. He looked into her clear aqua eyes and reluctantly closed his. He went still, dangerously still, she couldn't hear a pulse, she couldn't hear him breathing, he was gone, dead.

"Dad? Dad, please! DAD!!" she sobbed and screamed her lungs out.

Kizumi's POV

"Kizumi? Kizumi??" I awoke, "Huh?" "Kizumi! Are you okay? I heard you crying in your sleep, so I quickly came over." I looked to my right, it was my adoptive mother, "Y-yeah, I'm okay, I just had a bad dream..." I said.

"Oh okay then, I was really worried, I'll be going back to making breakfast today.", "Breakfast?" I looked over at my clock, it was 6:15 A.M. "Today's your first day of school, along with everyone else."

Oh yeah, I had totally forgotten. "Call me if you need anything!" She yelled back while leaving the room. I laid back down on my bed thinking about the dream I just had, it wasn't really a dream though...a memory.

With a sigh, I reluctantly got out of bed.
