If you’ve been on twitter lately, you must have noticed one of the most trending topics now, #Mommy. We are here to break it down to you.
Mommy is the ship name for Freeform’s Shadowhunters very own Matthew Daddario (portraying Alec Lightwood on the show) and one of the biggest American YouTubers, Tommy Richardson.
The two have been interacting all over social media, seemingly flirting. Tommy even befriended the cast of Shadowhunters thanks to his new friendship. Both the cast members and Tommy’s YouTube friends ship the two. So maybe something is going on there?
We hope not, because it seems like Tommy is only using Matthew for his fame. Ever since he began interacting with Matthew and the rest of the Shadowhunters cast, his subscriber count went up by 20%, and more and more fans of the show began following him on all of his social media platforms.
