Nearly two weeks have past and you have seen absolutely no sign of Hoseok nor Jerry. The two of them have seem to just disappear.
Songeun is helping you get ready for a dinner party hosted by one of Hoseok's mom's friend that is happening in 2 hours. It was both you and Hoseok that were invited but you haven't seen him so you're going solo.
You're standing in front of the mirror as Songeun zips up your dress. She looks in the mirror and sighs at your facial expression.
Songeun: "I'm sure they're fine"
You: "It's almost been two weeks..Is this normal?"
Songeun: "Ani, the staff is usually always informed beforehand.."
You sigh as you turn around and look at her.
You: "I'm worried.."
Songeun: "I'm sure they're fine"
You: "I'm suppose to be going to this dinner party with Hoseok..What will they think? Maybe I shouldn't go.."
Songeun: "Aish, screw what they think. You're nearly ready, what a waste to get ready and not go to this dinner party."
You: "I want to please his parents..not embarrass them."
Songeun: "Ya! His parents adore you, Y/N-ah."
You: "It's going to be embarrassing.."
Songeun: "Don't say that. I'm sure everyone at that party will be blown away by your appearance! They won't notice the fact that Hoseok-ssi isn't present."
Songeun: They'll totally notice but I'm sure it'll be fine..right?
You smile slightly.
You: "Thank you, Songeun-ah. I think I left my phone on the couch in the living room, may you please get it for me?"
Songeun: "Of course, I will be right back."
Songeun exits your bedroom. You look at yourself in the mirror. You practice your fake smile and suddenly begin tearing up. Your fake smile slowly fades away as you begin to break down.
You: It's been weeks now that I've been married to him..a couple weeks since I've moved in with him..nearly 2 years that I've know him and nothing has changed. We don't communicate. My presence bothers him. Without speaking to each other and all he's ever been most times is rude to me..what is it I find in him? How am I in love with him? I feel like if someone else was in my position, they wouldn't stay loyal to him yet, I am and I always will as long as we're married. Or they would even leave him. Why am I doing this to myself though..? Why am I putting myself through this torture? What happened to me keeping my own promise of putting myself first in situations such like this?
Hoseok walks in the bedroom as he's taking off his watch. He stops in place as he notices you crying in front of the mirror. His eyes widen and he looks around.
Hoseok: Uh..
Your eyes are shut as you continue crying. You cover your mouth with one hand.
You: What if he's cheating on me right now? Maybe this was all a big mistake. Maybe our parents shouldn't have arranged our marriage. He clearly doesn't care nor have any interest in me. I'm just bothersome to him.
You drop your hand to your side as you take a deep breath and open your eyes. As you look back into the mirror, you notice Hoseok. You gasp and look down as you wipe your eyes.
You: "I'm sorry.."
Not even taking one glance at him, you walk past him and out of the bedroom. He watches you as you leave, in shock of what he had just witnessed.
