Ella POV

I again returned to the coffee shop. I ordered my coffee, sat down, and started sketching again.

There he was, again.

He walked in and went straight to the cashier. He order and pointed to the cooler that displayed the desserts. Then he paid; but then the cashier passed a small piece of paper toward him. He smirked and started writing on the small paper. Damn it, another player. I looked away and started sketching a thorn bush.

I glanced up to see he had not sat down like last time but was waiting on the side. A moment later a girl came out and handed him a to-go coffee cup and he left? I was confused at me feeling sad that he was not staying like last time but then just let it go and continued drawing the thorn bush.

Moments later a waiter came by and set an off pink macaroons on a white plate on my table next to my sketch book.

"I did not order a dessert" I said confused.

"I know" said the waiter with a smirk (what's with everyone smirking today?) and left, leaving me hanging with why I had that dessert given to me.

I look at the plate next to me. I notice a folded piece of paper on the side of the macaroon. Hesitantly, I slowly grabbed the folded piece of paper and opened it up to see neatly written words inside. The tiny letter saying;

Hello

I saw you yesterday and I know you saw me. Cliche as it is, I couldn't get you off my mind. Here is something you can sketch other than me (color reaches my cheeks). The shop did not have any roses, so this is the closest I got. Also the color reminded me of your blushing cheeks. Hope you love it.

Til next time,

Daniel

So his name is Daniel, cute. I put the small letter in my backpack and lightly picking up the macaroon. I bought it up to my nose and inhale the sent. It was light and sweet. I never had a macaroon before. I have seen them on YouTube and Tumblr and Instagram, but never had one.

I bite a little off and the experience left me dumbfounded. I never expected the texture and taste to be like that. Once the bitten piece of macaroon was in my mouth, I started chewing it. It was a little bit sticky to the teeth but the texture was not bad at all. But GURL, my taste buds were dancing to the flavors of the macaroon. It's was light and sweet with a floral accent.

I place the macaroon back on the plate and placed it in front of me. I started to sketch the delicious dessert.

I wrote the date of today in the lower left corner. and packed up my stuff. I walked up to the counter and looked into the cooler that displayed the dangerously sweet desserts. I looked for a dessert that looked like mine.

"It was a rose macaroon" said the cashier.

"Rose?" I asked confused.

"The flavor is of a rose. Flavored with rose water"explained the cashier.

"Oh ok, Thank you" I thanked the cashier.

I walked out of the small coffee shop and thought "A rose macaroon, hu"
