Wild [Cedric Diggory]

c h a p t e r ; 4

   The sight of the two teens sitting besides each other with wide smiles, spreaded through the entire Hogwarts faster than a wildfire. As Olivia came in the Great Hall for lunch along with Diana and Matthew, the whispers started to buzz again as Cedric who was sitting beside his friends had a very red face.

Olivia's brow furrowed as Diana and Matthew exchange glances with knowing looks and wide grins, as students chatter with excitement, the trio walked over the Gryffindor table and just as Olivia sat, a girl from Slytherin house faced her with a huge grin.

"Is it true that you and Cedric are dating?" The girl's innocent question made Olivia choke on her food as she began coughing.

"Wh-what? Where did you get that rumour from?" Olivia saw the girl smile more, as she regretted why she didn't deny at first, rather than asking the question.

"Ooh so it is true!" The girl replied as Olivia shook her head quickly making her dizy.

"N-no, of course not! We barely talk to each other." Olivia reploed causing the girl's smile drop.

"Awww, that's to bad." The girl replied, a moment passed as the girl spoke again. "Oh how rude of me, I forgot! I'm Katherine Drew by the way." The girl lend her hand, and Olivia quickly shook her hand.

"Er, well Katherine, not to be rude but, why are you sitting here, no one's beside you." The girl's blunt question made Katherine smile.

"Oh well aside from waiting for someone, I'm a muggle born and we both know about most of the other Slytherin's views." Katherine said naturally as Olivia's mouth opened.

"Oh my gods, I am so sorry-" Olivia was cut off as Katherine laughed.

"No need to apologise, you were just curious after all." Katherine smiled at her as Olivia smiled back.

The two girls were chatting among themselves as a girl from Gryffindor approached them. Olivia immediatley recognized the girl, she was Elisse Fortescue, Olivia noticed Katherine's smile grew wider as so did Elisse's smile. Katherine stood up to hug the girl as Elisse hugged back.

Katherine turned to Olivia, as she excused herself.

"Hey Olivia, I need to go, we have things to do." Katherine explained as Olivia nodded, the two girls exited the Great Hall walking hand in hand.

"Love is in the air." Olivia heard someone murmur, as Olivia turned she saw Matthew with a wide grin.

Olivia rolled her eyes as her friend kept on making two people having chemistry. "No dingus, they can be just friends."

It was Matthew's turn to roll his eyes, "No dingus," Matthew began to mock his friend. "friends love each other too, you know."

Olivia opened her mouth in a 'o' form, but closed it, as no response came out of her mouth. Matthew smiled proudly as he proven his point.

Suddenly a piece of bacon strip was thrown in Olivia's face. As she turned to see who it was, Diana had a grin on her face as Olivia glared at her.

"What the hell was that for?! And did you really waste a piece of precious bacon?" Olivia told the girl.

Diana gave the girl a lazy grin before she answered. "First of all, you haven't told us the story on why you and Diggory were being all lovey-dovey. Second of all, I could never waste food you know that, I accidentally dropped it."

Olivia's eyes widened as Matthew laughed. "You threw a bacon that you've dropped?!"

Diana seemed to be joining Matthew as she ignored the girl. Olivia was not sharing the fun as she stood up.

"Fine, guess I won't tell you what we were doing." Olivia said before walking away without looking back.

Diana quickly stood up and ran after the girl. "Olivia we can talk about this!"

Matthew found himself alone, shaking his head he muttered something under his breath with a smile.

"Idiots."
