Emilys POV

i jumped as I felt a hand on my shoulder. waiting for the impact. But  no one hit me. " Sorry, I forgot" Elizabeth said sitting in the sand next to me. Putting my head against her shoulder. She was like an older sister to me.

" I'm so sorry. I took him away from you, If I wouldn't have went to the Party-"

"shhh Emily, He would have died for you, you know that. Don't wish that you are dead and not him. Your alive because your going to make a difference." she said pushing hair out of my face. " You can change peoples lives" she said with a smile. She knows everything. I mean Everything. Sometimes she would come over and talk to me when I had a rough day and Aiden wasn't even home.

" He talked about marrying you ya' know" I said with a half smile. " I loved your brother Emily, more than you can ever imagine" she said. " Then why aren't you mad at me?" I asked her.

" It's not your fault. Autumn told me that Adrian was there, you had to get away" she said. I nodded. " I'm going to keep you safe Emily. I promise. I promised Aiden that I would make sure you would be protected if something ever happened to you." she said.

I nodded. " Thanks for being there for me" I said hugging her. " I will always be there for you" she said. " Come on, Lets go" she said helping me stand up because of my stupid black boot thing on my foot. ---

" Good luck on your surgery tomorrow Ems. I'll be there soon" Dylan said through the phone.

" Thanks" I said.

" So, your room will be next to Emilys on the thrid floor" my mom said chatting up Lizzy ( Elizabeth). She's going to be staying with us. Which my mom was more than happy about. They are almost like bestfriends. Everyone loves Lizzy.

" Oh Emily, The neighbors are coming over tomorrow so be on your best behavior ok?" she asked me. " What time, my surgery is tomorrow too mom" I said in a duh tone. " Around noon" she said pursing her lips looking through the window.

" Ok. Thats fine" I said walking slowly up the stairs. " I'm going to unpack my room ok?" I said. She nodded still looking out the window. She probably has more inspiration for her paintings. Or a new book she's writing about.--

" I remember that summer" Elizabeth said standing behind me as I unpacked my things. " Yeah, It was fun" I said blankly staring at the picture of my dad. " He didn't even come to the funeral" I said softly. " I know" she said rubbing my back. I sighed taking out my my drawings hanging them up on my wall. " I think we should put this one in the living room" she said picking up the drawing of my quileute symbol. This is one of the many drawings of that symbol. I have billions of them. But the one she was holding was my best one. " Sure" I said with a half smile.

I kept looking around my room. It was huge. It had a balcony and a walk in closet and my own bathroom. It was like a hotel. I hung up more drawings of the symbol and the thunder bird. I know it's a myth. But I've seen it in my dreams. The thunderbird is said to be large enough to carry a whale. It's absolutly beautiful.
