Raph's P.O.V
Jill fell asleep holding Alex in her arms and I've been holding Andrew for the past two days.
He's been waking up and having panic attacks every few hours and Jill always has to leave the room because of how worried she is.
"Daddy?" Andrew's weak voice whimpered.
"What's up Buddy?" I asked and rubbed his shell.
"My body hurts." He whined.
"I know. You'll be fine, I promise." I sighed and kissed his forehead.
"Where's Mommy?" He asked.
"Jill! Andrew wants you!" I called to her. She walked out of the kitchen and into the room.
"Hey Andrew. You okay?" She asked and pulled him onto her lap.
"When can I get out of here?" He asked quietly. Jill looked at him, then at me.
"It's up to Uncle Donnie." She sighed. Andrew sighed and hugged Jill. "Why don't you let me go check on Alex?"
"But I want you here with me." He cried. She nodded and hugged him tightly.
"Honey, could you go check on Alex please? " Jill asked. A stray tear rolled off her cheek and her eyes were glazed over with worry.
"Sure thing babe." I said and kissed her cheek. I kissed Andrew's forehead and walked over to my sleeping daughter. I sat next to her and couldn't take my eyes off of her.
I wouldn't be able to live with myself is something were to happen to Alex or Andrew. They mean the world to me and if I didn't have them here with me, I dunno what I'd do.
"Daddy?" A weak voice asked. I looked down and saw Alex stretching.
"Hey baby girl. How you feelin'?" I asked and brushed a strand of her long brown hair out of her face.
"I feel warm." She said. I placed my hand on her forehead and felt a wave of panic sweep over to me.
"Jill, get Don." I said.
"Why?" She asked and ran over to us. I moved my hand so she could feel Alex's head and her eyes widened as she placed her hand on it. "She's burning up. Donnie!" She called. He ran inside and when he saw Alex panting and sweating, he knew that something was wrong.
"You guys go rest, I gotta run more tests on her and get her fever down." He said firmly.
"Please let me stay in here with her." Jill said and hugged Alex.
"You guys gotta go." He said. Jill kissed Alex ad Andrew before leaving the room. I followed her and sat with her on the couch.
"What's going on?" Ayame asked.
"Alex is burning up and Andrew's entire body hurts." Jill said in a worried tone. Ayame hugged her and rubbed her back.
"Everything will be fine." Leo said and patted my shoulder.
"I'm gonna go take a walk." Jill muttered and walked out of the house. Everyone watched her trudge off into the woods and they all had worried and fearful looks on their faces.
"I'm gonna go talk ta' ha'." I sighed and left the house. I walked into the woods and looked for Jill. Of course, she was sitting by the pier. "Ay." I said. She turned around and said nothing. I sighed and sat down next to her.
"What if something happens to them? What if they can't handle the pain of developing their powers and their bodies just give way and they...," She trailed off and covered her face with her hands.
