The hottest planet in our solarsystem is venus. A lot of people often think that it would be mercury, as it's the closest planet to the sun. This is because Venus has a lot of gasses in it's atmosphere, which causes the "Greenhouse effect"

If you don't know what the greenhouse effect:

 The greenhouse effect is a warming of Earth's surface and the air above it. It is caused by gases in the air that trap energy from the sun. These  gases are called greenhouse gases. The most common greenhouse gases are water (H2O) ,carbon dioxide (Co2), and methane (MH4)
