-Harry's P.O.V-

My head was pounding with the bass, shaking my skull with surprising intensity. I closed my eyes and inhaled deeply, the wafting scents of cigarettes and alcohol burning down my throat. Though my eyes were closed, I knew the strobe lights were flashing fluorescent colors, random lasers shooting out onto the dance floor. Opening my eyes, I was met with a scene of sweaty bodies grinding to the music, their minds dancing on the edge of being wasted. Stepping around the variety of people, I made my way back to the familiarity of the bar, the bartender no where in sight. Taking a seat at one of the many stools, I leaned against the counter, surveying the club. This being the second I chose to arrive at, I wasn't expecting much. The clubs back in America were better than the ones here in London. I tugged at my hair, contemplating if I should stay, or head back to the hotel. Practicality kicked in, and I chose the latter, already weaving my way between people to get to the exit. Opening the club door, I was met with fresh air that held a bite of fall to it, and it made me realize how close to the end if summer it really was. I shoved my hands in my hoodie pockets, and looked around, wondering if any cabs were around. Not seeing any, I accepted the fact I'd have to walk fifteen blocks to get back to my hotel. I settled into a quick pace, not paying much attention to anything or anyone. Time slowed down, and the weight of my emotions suddenly pressed down on my lungs. It's been almost two years since Louis' accident. I felt the tears numb my eyes and I angrily rubbed them away, not wanting to have strangers see me get emotional.

I unlocked my hotel room and pushed my way in, dropping my coat on the floor. I yawned and groaned, my body aching from working out. The little fridge holding chocolate cake called my name, so naturally I gave in. I kicked back on my bed and took a bite of silky chocolate cake, my taste buds cheering in happiness. I lazily grabbed the TV remote and turned on the tv, flicking through the various channels until I chose Entertainment Tonight. My almost dropped my cake when an old story about Louis' accident that was almost two years ago. I turned off the TV in a flash, and put the rest of my cake in the fridge again. I lost my appetite at the thought of the accident. I went out onto the small balcony and leaned against the railing, closing my eyes in the slight breeze. The hotel door opened and shut again, but I didn't move. Warm arms wrapped around me, and I leaned into them, smiling. A light kiss was placed on my shoulder, and I grinned. Turning around, I was met with familiar blue eyes that I fell in love with more every day.

"Why are you out here?" Louis asked me, curiosity filling his face. I shrugged and hugged him, nuzzling my face into his neck.

"I was thinking." I simply replied, enjoying the embrace. Louis smiled against my head and pulled away so he could narrow his eyes at me.

"Well stop that! You always end up sad." He scolded me, his eyes dancing with life.

"It's almost 2 years." I said, and Louis' smile turned serious.

"I'm never going to do anything to jeopardize us again. I was young and stupid and didn't realize how valuable life was. And I have you. What more could I possibly want?" He asked, lightly tracing my lips with his thumb.

"I know, Lou." I said, sighing.

"Good. I love you, you know." He said, and he kissed me lightly.

"Lou?" I asked, suddenly brave.

"Yes?" He asked, one eyebrow shooting up.

"Marry me." I said, more like a statement than a question.

"What?" He asked in shock, his eyes wide. I smiled.

"Marry. Me." I said again. He grinned a cheesy grin.

"Liam Payne, it would be an honor." He kissed me, and pulled me back into our room, already talking of wedding details.

I finally arrived at the hotel, and I walked to Liam's room, and knocked.

"Both of you better be wearing clothes." I joked, rolling my eyes at Louis' insults. Liam opened the door, and I found that Zayn and Niall already arrived. Zayn just got back from his honeymoon with Perrie, and he had the disgusting newlywed glow to him.

"Oh, so Mr. Softie is back from paradise?" I teased and he took a pretend swing at me.

"Idiot." He muttered, and Niall held back a laugh. Him and Hannah broke things off after some bad fights. Now he was seeing a wonderful girl named Abigail, and they are perfect. I looked over at Louis and Liam who settled themselves together like puzzle pieces. No longer did my heart clench when I saw them together. I was just happy to even have my best friend. I understood in why he had more romantic feelings for Liam, and I couldn't be happier for them. I sensed something was up, since Louis looked as if he was about to explode.

"Out with this, man!" I said and he got up and practically skipped over to me.

"Liam and I decided that we're going to get married next year." He tried to say seriously, but ended up squealing. I grinned and hugged him.

"I better be your best man!" I joked and he glared at me.

"No." He replied and I stepped back.

"Huh?" I asked, slightly hurt. Ok, more than slightly.

"You're going to be my bestest man." He crinkled his nose and I all but tackled him.

"Don't do that to me!" I gasped. He shrugged and settled back to Liam. In that small moment, I knew everything was going to be alright.

-Louis' P.O.V-

Looking around at all my mates, I was content. Not only was I going to marry the person of my dreams, all of us were closer than ever. Not to mention going on our 2nd stadium tour in a few months. Everything was perfect.

"I don't think I could spend enough time with you." I whispered in Louis' ear. He looked at me and smiled. He whispered back,

"Let's start with forever."
