A/N this one is a little triggering so warning you and this is so sad
Where and when: Northern and Southern California in 1976 to 1986.
What: An unidentified man committed 50 rapes and at least 10 murders in a 10-year period.
Why is it so creepy? The East Area Rapist and Original Night Stalker were believed to be two separate people before DNA evidence proved the two to be the same person in 2001. There is speculation that the same man could also be the , meaning he progressed from burglary to rape to murder. The rapist/killer is still . The creepiest part may just be the 30-second he left for one of his victims where he whispered, "I'm going to kill you" while breathing heavily and playing creepy music in the background.
