After about three hours of driving, everyone arrived in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. After about another ten minutes, they come across an abandoned weapon shop. The buses park in the lot and Beca gets out facing all the boys. "Alright, Boys. I want you to grab as many guns and ammo as possible and load them onto the B.U. Harmonics bus. Barb, I want you to pick five people of your group to ride with The Trebles. As for the rest of you, we need a few couples to take a child. Now go!"
Everyone dispersed as told and Aubrey along with Stacie brought the brunette boy and a brunette girl out to the rest of the survivors. Chloe looked at them confused. "Where are the other two?"
Aubrey looked sheepish as Stacie blushed. "Stacie and I are taking the blonde hair, green-eyed girl." The blonde captain said.
"And we figured you two would take the ginger with blue eyes." Stacie added.
"What?!?" Chloe looked wide-eyed.
"Chlo, calm down." Beca said making the older girl face her. "Remember what I said at the hospital about us taking one?"
"Yeah. But what does that mean?"
The dj rolled her eyes and brought the senior in for a passionate kiss on the lips. Chloe froze for a second surprised, but wrapped her arms around the smaller woman's waist bringing her closer. Beca pulled away after thirty seconds and leaned her forehead against the senior's with a smile. "I love you, Chloe Rose Beale."
The ginger smiled back and pecked her lips. "I love you too, Dj."
The freshman pulled away. "So now you get it?"
It took a few seconds for the realization to hit the ginger girl, but she smiled and nodded. "I do. But what should we name her?"
"I was thinking Bella Brey-Amy in honor of our group and in honor of Aubrey and Amy."
"I love it. Bella Brey-Amy Mitchell."
"Why Mitchell?"
"Because when we get married, I'm taking your last name."
"WHEN?"
"When." Chloe confirmed with a peck to her lips.
Beca wrapped her arms around the older woman's neck and smiled. "I like the sound of that." She replied as the boys finished loading the guns and ammo onto the required bus. She then turned to the rest of the survivors. "Ok. So we have a blue-eyed, brunette girl and a brown-eyed, brunette boy left. Who's taking them?"
"Lilly and I will take the boy." Donald said.
Lilly smiled at him and picked up the boy as she walked over to him. Donald kissed her cheek and then kissed the baby's forehead. Beca and Chloe smiled at the sight before the brunette spoke again. "Ok. And the girl?"
The survivors all whispered to each other and Unicycle raised his hand. "Alison and I will take her."
The pregnant girl Alison kissed his cheek and he walked over to pick up the last child. Beca clapped her hands for attention and was obeyed immediately. "Ok. Ladies, not including the new families, I want you all to go in there and gather all the knives and if possible, swords as you can and load them up into the same bus as the guns. We need as many weapons as we can take. We'll head for Jackson, Mississippi and find a place to camp for the night."
Everyone did as told and the rest loaded themselves back onto the respective buses.
After twenty minutes, the bus was loaded and everyone was off towards Jackson. It was another two and half hours before they reached the city. Not including the fifteen minutes it took for them to stop and refill their gas tanks. They stopped at what seemed to be an abandoned three story ranch house and got out of the buses. Everyone looked at Beca for instructions.
Beca took Bella from Chloe as she faced everyone. "Ok. New families, take your packed bag and a gun or knife and go inside to pick a room for the night. The rest of you, grab your packed bags and a gun or knife each. Split up into pairs or groups of three or four and head inside to choose your rooms. One pair or group will keep watch for any infected or bitten until dusk. Then a new pair or group will switch and watch until dawn. Understand?"
"Yes, Mam!" Everyone replied in unison and did as told.
Chloe was carrying a diaper bag and followed her girlfriend into the house. Stacie and Aubrey already found the master bedroom and smiled when the other couple walked in. "So it'll be the six of us?" Aubrey asked.
"Yes. We're better off as a group of four with two newborns rather than two pairs and a newborn each." Beca said. "Have you named yours yet?"
Stacie smiled as Aubrey replied. "Ashlyn Chloe Posen."
"You named her after me?" Chloe asked tearing up with a small smile gracing her face.
"Yeah. We thought Ashlyn was really pretty and then we wanted to name her after one of our best sisters. We debated on calling her Chloe as her first name, but we didn't want to get you mixed up as she gets older." Stacie said.
"And since Chloe seemed to go well with Ashlyn, we gave it to her as her middle name instead." Aubrey added.
"Awww. That's so sweet, You Guys." Chloe said.
"Yeah. Stacie and I discussed it. When we have a second daughter, her name will be Rebeca in honor of Beca. Her full name will be Rebeca Ashley Posen. Ashley of course in honor of you know who."
Beca teared up. "Seriously? You're gonna name her after me?"
"Yeah. Beca, I know we don't get along that well, but this is a different world now. We have to stick together to survive. And I know if it wasn't for you knowing what to do in this situation, we'd probably all be dead by now." Aubrey said sincerely.
The small freshman handed Bella to Chloe and walked over hugging the blonde. The senior wrapped her arms around the small brunette's shoulders and hugged her back. "I'm sorry for before, Aubrey."
The captain pulled away and shook her head. "Don't be. I should be the one apologizing, so I'M sorry. Can you forgive me?"
Beca smiled. "Only if you can do the same."
"Absolutely. I love you, Beca."
"I love you too, Sis." She replied with a wink.
