Chapter 1

Melanie POV

I woke up to Scotts voice screaming at me I had forgotten that I broke my alarm for smashing it against the wall because it woke me up and I wasn't thinking.

I didn't wake up to his call so he came to my room and made me get up, "Melanie get up! Stiles is almost here!"

Stiles drives us to school because mom goes to work at 3 A.M and takes the car leaving us no choice and besides Stiles is Scott's best friend and like an additional brother to me.

I got out of bed and demanded Scott to get out so I could get ready. It was the first day of school back from break and I needed to look good. I finally decided what I was going to wear, a pink dress with a jean material jacket because you never know the weather in Beacon Hills, and some boots that went a little over my ankle. I was getting dressed and I suddenly heard my phone buzz on my nightstand I had 3 unread messages from Thomas, my boyfriend.

I didn't have time to answer his texts because I didn't want to be late especially since Scott was rushing me.

I heard Stiles jeep pull up into the driveway, I had to hurry up! I quickly made my way to the bathroom and threw my hair into a messy bun and put on some makeup, I grabbed my bag and ran down stairs.

Stiles POV

I walked in Scotts house because we usually watch TV before we leave to school.

I heard footsteps running down the stairs I got closer not surprisingly it was Melanie I stood at the end of the stairs and told her to be careful she suddenly tripped luckily I caught her and she was fine.

"You alright?", I asked her concerned.

"Yeah, thanks for saving my life idiot.." She replied.

"Wow someone didn't get enough sleep last night," I said.

"Very funny, sorry for calling you that."

I didn't care I thought she was being 'sarcastic' but I guess I looked affected?

She ran to the kitchen and stuffed something in her bag and poured her self some orange juice and to that we left and drove to school.

*This is after the events that Jackson was Kanima and Peter was Resurrected. This happens when Raf' (Scott's father) shows up. Scott finds out he has a sister, Melanie. But she doesn't know about Scott or any supernatural things.*

Scott POV

We got to school, and Melanie looked nervous I could sense her butterflies.

I have been a werewolf for a year now and Melanie doesn't know, I really want to tell her but she has been through a lot. We don't have the same mothers and her birthmother was killed by a alpha (Kali) but she thinks it was a car crash.

"Excited much?", I said to Melanie

"No just don't like this place at all!"

I didn't know why she wasn't excited she hasn't seen Thomas for like a month oh well I don't know maybe she doesn't love him like that.

Thomas and Jackson were best friends in middle school, I don't hate Thomas its just that I'm afraid that since he was always with Jackson he will end up being a jerk like he was and hurt Melanie.

But Jackson is gone now and has what he always wanted, a gift.

We all split up since we all have different classes for first period.
