Early that morning, Letitia came to visit.
"Oh, thank God you're alright!" She exclaimed when he came outside, "I was so worried about you!" It was overcast, the clouds swollen with rain. Nuri had been relatively quiet, only speaking up to make the occasional snarky joke or wise-ass comment, usually with Icarus as the butt of the joke.
"I was so worried about you, Pretty-boy," He cooed, "I almost pissed my pants with fear!"
Icarus ignored the demon. "I'm okay, I was just sick." He lied. Letitia smiled. "I don't know what I would've done if, God forbid, you didn't make it. I took your stuff home with me. You should come and get it tomorrow." Icarus nodded. "I'll be there."
The rest of the day was spent in the neighbor's houses, methodically torching small knick-knacks.
