Texas Werewolves and their Special Mates

Chapter 1

Crystal's POV
"Please join me in prayer.....We are here today to bury two loving, caring, and proud people...Peter and Rose Leliani... who left behind seven growing children, alone in this world..". The priest went on and on. Loving?!? Caring!?! Those are two words I would NEVER use to describe my so-called 'parents'. Sorry I bet you have no clue what is going on, I'm Crystal Leilani and I'm 17. I am a twin, and I'm the third oldest out of seven. Getting back on track my so-called 'Loving and Caring Parents'  died in a boat crash. There were only three survivors my youngest twin sisters Shine and Shimmer and my third youngest sister Ariel. Since our 'parents' died my brothers Ryan and Ian have custody of us. As of right now, we live in Clearwater, Florida, but in two days we are moving to Santa Fe, Texas. The funeral only lasted an hour, I was itching to get out of there. My siblings were too. We were making our way to our bikes and truck when we were stopped by an old lady. "Where are you seven going?" she questioned. "Home," I answered quickly. "But the service just ended? You're not staying?" The old lady asked. "No, we are going home to grieve," Ryan answered smoothly. Grieve? No way not over our 'parents'. My twin sister Diamond and I looked at each other. She grabbed Shimmer's hand and headed towards my truck while I picked up shine and grabbed Ariel's hand. The boys walked to their bikes and put their helmets on and got on their bikes. Diamond put Shimmer in her car seat while I put Ariel and Shine in theirs. Diamond got in the passenger seat while I got in the driver's seat.

********SKIPPING CAR RIDE********

Ten minutes later we pulled up at our mansion with a beach. Dia and I got the girls out of the truck and the boys got off their bikes. "Anyone up for a swim?" Diamond suggested. Oh, that reminds me my family are mermaids, but we live on land because are 'parents' said it was too dangerous to live in the ocean. "I guess we can, but only for a couple hours cause we still have to pack," Ryan said. "Okay." we all replied.  We all ran inside to change into our shifting safe bathing suits. They don't tear when we shift. We all met downstairs after changing when everyone was downstairs Ian looked at us and yelled: "Race you guys!".  He started sprinting towards the beach, so I looked at Dia and she was looking at me, we knew what each other were thinking so we grabbed the girls and sprinted down to the beach. Ryan reached the water first, and he yelled: "I win!". We all laughed at him and we all got in the water. We all splashed around for about three hours when Ryan announced that it was time to go inside. We all swam to the shore and phased back.  Then we walked back up the beach to the house.

You guys are all probably thinking someone could have seen you guys. No one could have seen us we live on a private beach and have no neighbors around for about a mile and a half. We are also surrounded by woods. Anyway!! Getting back into reality. It was around 7 when we got back inside. Diamond decided to give the girls a bath and put them to bed, while me, Ryan and Ian starting to pack. Ryan went to his room and Ian went to his but not before grabbing some boxes. While  I grabbed some boxes and then went to Ariel's room and started to put her stuff in boxes but left out enough clothes for 7 days. After packing most of her clothes I went to the twins room and did the same to theirs.  after doing the twins, I went to my room that I shared with Dia, and started to pack my clothes and my things.

*****time skip about 10 minutes*****

   "Crys!" Dia yelled. "Ya!" I yelled back. "The girls want you to tuck them in!" she yelled. "Okay, just a sec!" I finished folding the shirt that I was holding and got up. I walked out of my room towards the twins room first. When I went into their room Dia was finishing getting Shimmer dressed for bed. Shine was on her bed already dressed and playing with her stuffed wolf name Oreo. "Shine time for bed," I told her. She grabbed Oreo and got under her covers. I tucked her in and gave her a kiss on her forehead, while Dia did the same with Shimmer. Then we switched and did the same with the other twin. Dia left the room probably to tuck Ariel then to go pack. I told the twins goodnight then walked out of their room turning off the light and turning on their nightlight. I went down the hallway to Ariel's room and tucked her in and kissed her forehead. I whispered goodnight on my way out of her room and turned off her light. I quietly shut her door and headed to back to my room, where Dia was packing her stuff.  "I can't wait till we get out of here, and get to the house, Crys.". "I know Dia I can't wait either Kekoa is getting restless, and she won't tell me what's wrong."  " That's weird, maybe she'll be better in the morning?" " I hope so Dia.". We finished packing around eleven at night. We were really tired so we went to bed. " Goodnight Dia." "Goodnight Crys" and with that, we fell asleep.
