Chapter Fifteen

Forth and I decided to go university together. Choosing to stay close with our friends, we went to the state university. Forth majored in engineering and I in education. We graduated and Forth started his construction company while I went to school for my masters. Graduating 3 years later, I got a job with an elementary school teaching first graders. It was a good experience since I adored children so much. Once we were finished with schooling, Forth and I began planning our wedding. I wanted a simple wedding, nothing fancy, and Forth agreed easily. We choose to have an all white wedding in the barn in our backyard. We renovated the old barn, painting and rebuilding the massive space. The date we set was December 21, exactly one month away. I couldn't wait finally be married to the man I love, and the time seemed to escaped slowly as if it was teasing me. But all too soon the day came, and I found myself nervous and terrified, but at the same time, more sure of this decision than any other I've ever had. Apple was my bridesmaid, she was wearing a short white dress and light pink heels. I was wearing a white linen shirt and matching skinny pants. I choose my adidas NMD khaki rather than white, all white wasn't my thing.

"Ready to get married?", Apple asked when I was finished getting dressed.

"Born ready", I answered honestly. I've been dating Forth for 7 years now, and there was no doubt in my mind he was the man for me.

Forth POV

   I looked at the barn entrance, waiting for Beam to walk out and we profess our love to one another. Beam did an excellent job with the decoration, it was beautiful without going overboard. Pink rose petals were scattered along the white aisle, and were also hung from ceiling giving the barn a very romantic feel. Soon, the time came, and the music-an arrangement of violins and sharp-began filing the room with an angelic sound. Candles in old mason jar illuminated the space and gave off sweetly scents. Everything was greater than perfect. Beam came walking into the barnyard, and looked amazing. I couldn't believe I was so lucky as to have him love me. He gracefully walked, and soon was standing by my sides as the ceremony began. We wrote our own vows, and it was very heartwarming.

"Forth, I promise to love you always. I give you my heart and soul, and couldn't have imagined a more perfect person to spend my life with. I will always love you support everything you do. We are one."

"Beam, you have made me luckiest man ever. I will always love, support, and protect you. You own my heart, and will always have it. I can't believe that someone as perfect as you said you'd be with someone as flawed as I am, but I'm so happy that you did. Every morning, I love waking up next to you, you wrapped in my arms as I hold you. I can not wait for you to be mine, and I yours, and know that you are the only one for me. I have never loved anyone as much as I loved you, thank you marrying me."

    Beam started to cry, and I could barely hold my tears back myself. Our kiss was intimate and filled with love, everything our love for each other was. I couldn't stop smiling, my gums hurt but I didn't care. Beam was finally mine, this was the happiest day of my life. Our reception was very romantic, but I couldn't wait to be alone with the love of my life. After the reception and everyone left, Beam and I went to the beach. We're laying on the soft sand gazing up the stars.

"This day made my list", I told him while I quietly stroked his cheek.

"What list?", Beam asked looking me in the eye.

"My top ten favourite moments with you. 1-when you married me." His eyes glistened with unshead tears, he looked so beautiful that it stunned me. We stayed like that, our body wrapped in one under the moonlight. This was the best day of my life. Beam is finally mine.

Hey everyone! good morning! first of all, I'm so sorry for not updating this story last night which I've actually promised to some of you. Sorry sorry sorry from bottom of my heart. tsk tsk tsk... (Well, actually I forgot to updating the story since I got this project of mine haven't been done yet. And I haven't sleep since last night cos I'm still in the uni to do some research. Now, I have this little bit of time, I should give you one chapter 1st before I continued to another one. hope you guys forgive my lateness na. I don't know when I will be done with my project but hopefully I can update this story by tonight.) Comments and vote are most welcoming.
