"Do you really think I would be that naive? I'm not unintelligent or anything close to idiotic." She angrily whispered to the man sitting across the table from her.

"I never said you were anything of the sort, I was just offering up a deal---Sweetheart." He said slyly.

"Are you insane?" She almost screamed. "Why would anyone ever accept a deal from a monster like you?!?! You are a pathetic waste of space and you deserve nothing if you make someone a deal like that." As she finished, the girl stood up and walked out of the bar she was sitting inside of. As she was getting up, she caught a glimpse of the man, grinning like nobody she'd ever seen.

The girl left the bar in great annoyance and as she walked out the door she smelled something so, so fresh and new that immediately soothed and calmed her. She followed the smell towards a small shop overflowing with flowers. There were vast varieties of almost every flower she thought possible. She viewed the flowers with such delicateness and softness it almost seemed like she was consuming them with every breath. A man then walked up next to her, surprising her and making her feel a tad embarrassed.

"Do you like them? The flowers?" The stranger asked her.

"Oh yes, I absolutely adore flowers." She responded without taking her eyes off of them.

"If you could mix any two flowers into a hybrid, which ones would you choose?" He asked her without taking his eyes off of her.

"Well, I would mix a bird of paradise with lilies, but that's something that will almost never come true. If i had to be logical about this, my all time favorite hybrid is the Blue Moon hybrid. Its a hybrid tea rose and its smell is just, its fantastic." She said wholeheartedly.

"It sounds intriguing..." The man said almost swooning.

"Yes it really is- Oh!" She started saying then soon looked at her watch. "I really must go, it was wonderful to meet you!" She said as she ran off down the street.

"I will find you again, Skylar." The man whispered to himself as he watched her race off into the distance.
