Annie's POV
I grabbed the camera from my night stand.
"Good morning guys. So today I have gym of course." I said whilst yawning.
"Hmm let's think about the day. Oh my goshh I'm reuniting with Katie today!!!" I squeal. I hear a pound on the wall.
"Sorry." I scream. "Well I have to get ready. Mom will probably film at the gym with Ms. Jill."I shut the camera and get ready for gym. I pick out a bratayley Leo. I trace the HL. Since Hayley passed our 'saying' is Celebrate Life. And with the font the loops make an HL. Hayley Leblanc. It's gets easier every day. But we still miss her like crazy. I get ready and knock on Calebs door.
"Bubba do you wanna come Brennan is gonna be their." I ask him. He groans from under the comforter.
"Be down in 5." He groans. I smile and walk downstairs. Mom waits at the door.
"Ready to go?" She asks.
"Bubbas coming. 5 minutes." He comes running downstairs.
"Ready." He yawns. We all get into the car. He sits in back with me. He lays on my shoulder.
"Crap. We have to park across the street. Ughh I have a box to bring in for ms jill." She complains.
"I'll bring it over." Bubba says.
"You sure? It's okay really." Mom says.
"No it's fine I got it." We park. Mom walks toward the gym.
"Be careful Bubba. Look both ways." I hug him and walk to the gym. Once in the gym I run to Katie.
"Its been so long!" We both say.
"Wow a week." Brennan says. I playfully hit his shoulder. She goes to greet the other coral girls. Brennan signals to go in a different room.
"How was vacation?" I hear mom ask Ms. Jill as we walk away. He shuts the door behind us. I check my watch six minutes.
"No hug for me?" He jokes. I blush. I hug him tightly. We stay like this for a solid 45 seconds. We pull apart. We look eachother in the eyes and blush. Hard.
"Katie finally told me who she likes." We laugh. "Luke" we say in unison.
"Any clue why? I mean I love the dude but I could never see him that way." I laugh.
"She says he's funny, a good athlete, and he's cute. And that's all I could get out of her." I shake my head and smile. Coach Mary calls for us all to meet on the floor. I head towards the door.
"Annie?" He says. I turn towards him.
"I think I uhm feel the same about you." I smile and walk out. The girls are on the floor. My mom is no where to be seen. Ms. Jill is frantic. I walk over to her. She turns me away from the window.
"Ms. Jill where is my mom?" I ask her. I hear the door close. I turn to Brennan. He stares out the window and freezes. I walk over to him.
"Brenn what is it." He pulls me away from any windows.
"Okay everyone stop why can't I look outside." I snap. And that's when I hear it.
Calebs POV
Mom leaves the keys with me. I pull the big box out of the trunk.
"Oof this is like 30 llbs of potatoes." I groan.
I wait for the crossing light to turn green. I look both ways and start walking towards the gym. I hear a car coming. I stop walking and look. It's not stopping. I can't move any faster than this with this heavy box. I hear the objects scatter across the road. The world goes dark.
Annie's POV
I start hyperventilating. The last time I heard a siren that loud was the night H-Hayley died. Brennans arms were firm on my shoulders.
"Brennan let me go." I said. He shook his head. Katie ran over to me. She had been crying.
"Katie what's wrong." I said quickly.
"What do you-" she froze just like Brennan did.
"Can someone please say something or let me look out the window." I stutter. Now I was freaking out. Brennan let go for a split second. I saw my mom climbing into an ambulance. And I saw someone being lifted in on a gurney. I searched the road. Objects were scattered. Wait. Tears started streaming fast.
"Where's Bubba." I stutter.
"W-where is h-he the box is on the road." I cry. Brennan pulled me close to him. I cried into his chest.
"We're gonna meet Ms. Katie at the hospital. Get in the car kids."
I couldn't move. Brennan carried me. I continued crying. It- it just wouldn't stop. First Hayley. Now Bubba? No. No. No.
