Prom

Ray's POV
UHHHHH its prom night. I know what you are thinking. "You should be happy this only come ones and blah blah blah" All that but I really hate prom. Plus I didnt got a date since Im an outcast. And all my "friends" got dates. So there is no choice but to stay inside and just Ask what happened in prom-

My thought was distracted by the buzz of my phone. I reached my phone and saw a text. Its Andrea. She said if I will go to prom night.

As I was thinking why is Andrea texting me? The most famous girl is texting an outcast like me.

I replied to her text. I told her that I will not come to prom.

She replied. "Awww come on its only one night it wont take that long".

For some reason I have the erge to got o prom. So i dressed up with my tux and shoes, fixed my hair and all and tild my mom im going to prom.

My sister went early since they will have an adventure around the campus.

As i was walking i saw Jorge. He saw me and wave. I went to him and said hi. We walked to the gym where the prom was taken place.

As i mentioned all my friend had dates. And as we entered Jorge was his date went to her annnnnddd i was alone ;-;.

I saw the boufet and got a drink. I took a sip until i saw Andrea.

I was avoiding eye contact until she was approaching to......me? She. She is walking towards to me??? Dies she have a date. Where is her date???

"Hey Ray!" Andrea said

"Hey" i said awkwardly as usually

"Where's your date?" i added

"Right infront of me" she said

I was confused??? What is she saying? I cant put my thought to it. An drea noticed that I was looking confused.

"Ray you are my date" she said

I was shocked like wut im her date?

"Ive been waiting your request, i rejected alot of boys because i want you to be my date, you didnt asked me and i heard that you werent coming to prom sl i texted and here we are!" she said

"I..ah.... Why did you waited for my request?! You should just go to other boys not me!?" i said

She kissed me in the lips. In my eyes the world just stopped. Everything happened so fast. She pulled away i think i know my answer.

"Okay wait this may be awkward but give me a sec" i said

I backed out, and went back

"Hey Andrea can you be my date!" i saif with a smile

She chuckled. "Haha of course!"

I pulled her to the dance floor. I dont even know what am I doing. I pulled her closer to me and we danced to the song "love me like you"

As it ended we went to the balcony and just dazed in the stars. I never knew i would be happy in prom night. I dont want this to end.

I looked over to Andrea and she was that looking at me we leaned in to kissed until-

"Ehem" Jorge coughed

"I didnt knew you love birds will be up here" be smirked

"Uhhhhh what do you want?" i said

"Theyre gonna announced the king and queen of prom, come and joined us" be said

"Sure we're gonna come just give us a minute" Andrea said

"fine" jorge left us alone.

"Well that was awkwar-" before i could finished my sentence Andrea kissed me on the cheek. I blushed she noticed.

"You look cute when you blushed" she said

As of now i was red as a tomato. We went back and seated to our seats.

"The winner of prom queen is..... Ms Andrea Cuyat!" the announcer said.

Andrea stand up and walked up the stairs. The principle put her the tiara on her. I clapped loudly so she can noticed that im happy for her.

"Annnddd the winner of prom king iss..... Ray Villavicencio!" the announcer said.

I was shocked. My friends pushed me to the stage. Me and Andrea prom king AND queen???? The principle put the crown on me and everyone cheered.

Me and Andrea made eye contact and just laughed at it.

I walked Andrea to her house, we chatted, our finger inter-twined with each other. As we were near her block she said she will go by her own now. I wanted to walked more with her but its late so we aparted.

But before i can walk to my block An drea pulled me into a last kiss. We pulled out before anyone saw us. We went to our ways.

I can say that this is the best day ever!
