Zhan Qing Lian's P.O.V
I had lived in the palace for 2 years. I had to learn how to play musical instruments, how to recite poetries, embroidery, how to sing and so on. Moreover, I also have to learn to be a proper lady. These are the things that I hate to do. I must be skilful in these then my parents will be happy and proud of me. I don't want them to disappoint me. I missed my foster father and my senior brothers. I would take the permission to go there. Being a princess is not easy. I felt that I had lived in the cage. How a miserable life.

'' Princess ... Princess Qing Lian, the ceremony will start in few minutes . Have you prepared well?'' my most trusted maid, Bai Wei said.
I said to her,'' Yes, you wait outside, I will come out now.''
In my thought, '' Today is the day that I will be bestowed as the first rank princess for my diligence. There will be many noble people from neighbouring countries to attend this ceremony. Not only today is the birthday of my imperial father but also the ceremony for me.''

When I arrived to the place where the ceremony held on, I saw my imperial parents and imperial brothers and sisters greeting to the nobles from the other countries. I hoped everything will fine . And also hoped the end of this ceremony.
'' Emperor Zhan Tian Hui, why you celebrate the two ceremonies together, it is not good. '' the envoy from the Wei country said.

He was the older brother of the emperor Gao Zhang shi.

'' Yes, it is true. I also want to know the reason. Zhao country is well known for its prosperous.'' the envoy from the Qi country.

He was the prime minister. He was well-known for his wisdom. He played a vital role in his country.

I knew that everyone here wanted to laugh at our country. They wanted to find the mistakes we made to them. Then there would be no peace....
We all endured their actions and we all try to wear a smile on our face but... our eyes filled with anger. If someone heard their words then he would say nothing was wrong with them but the emotion on their face, the eyes told us that we were not rich enough or our country was not the one they had heard.

''Oh, we are very sorry for that but for me I don't want to celebrate the ceremony that will cost a lot that is why. These are my fault . I hope all the honourable and noble envoys will forgive me'' I said calmly.  I stood up and went towards them. Then I bowed them.
I also said ,'' We, royal family don't want to spend money that much. It is true that our country is famous for its prosperous. So we should not celebrate these happy parties together. But...''
I higher my voice,'' There are many people who cannot wear, eat, and sleep well in our country. We all know that every country has this problem. So we decide not to use too much money on the ceremonies that are not necessary.''

'' Princess Qing Lian, you mean that not only the birthday party of your imperial father but also the ceremony is not important. How does this happen'' the envoy from the Bei country said.

He is also the prime minister of his.

'' Both of them are necessary for us but we want to share our happiness. We will use the part of the money to support the poor, part of it will be used in trading for the normal commoners. For the rich and nobles, they will be honoured for their merits. Our royal family will also known as for this plan. The people from all walks of life can be happy from this case. This is the truest and best for all in our mind. So all the honourable people don't take this to your heart. Lets celebrate the ceremony happily.'' I said calmly.

The hall went into silent. But my imperial father broke it.'' Ha ha, Lets eat and drink. And feel the traditional dance and song of our country.''

I went to my imperial father's study room to apologize my fault during the day. I know that I shouldn't interfere with that.
The eunuch announced,''PRINCESS QING LIAN HAS ARRIVED.'' with a loud voice.
Then I walked into the room slowly and elegantly. This was the behaviour of the proper lady. I hate to do this but I am a princess. I must be the i deal model of every lady in my country.

''Greetings to imperial father wishing you will long-lived.'' I said.
My beloved father lifted his head and stopped reading the scrolls in his hand. He smiled at me. '' Oh, my princess you have come. I am waiting to see you. Come here and choose the things you like. This is my gift for you. Don't deny it, my daughter.'' I looked at the trays where my father pointed to. There were so many jewels. With a glance, everyone can tell they are priceless.

I don't want  valuable things anymore. But my father forced me to chose. I chose the jade bracelet. But he made me to chose some more.''My little precious daughter, you are the best lady who is very proficient in the every subject that a woman should be skilfulled. Don't forget that you are a first-rank princess of this country. So you should wear some valuable things.''
Then I chose the things i wanted and needed most. My imperial father also helped me to choose.

He is a good emperor for his people, a good husband for my mother , and also a good father for his children. I admired him so much. He is also a dutiful person too.

I went back to my residence. I felt very tired. After taking a bath, I went to bed.

At midnight, a loud noise woke me up.
