We were always there for each other,
Never once, did we falter.
From beginning to end,
On each other, we depend.Life was harmless,
To the eyes of the inexperienced.
We knew nothing of the road ahead,
And with that, we were misled. We thought it was safe,
And it took advantage of our naivety
Faced with such challenges,
We made the wrong choices. Now, our life is full of regret,
And memories soon to be faded.
Life will always be cruel
Towards the inevitableness of the existence of fools. We were once always there for each other,
But where are you now? I wonder.
We vowed to stay by each other's sides,
But now, we walk endless strides.A broken friendship,
Destined to never meet again
In this vast world
Of shifting tides.
