The Automatic Bell Dispenser, or ABD, is an ATM that is located in the Post Office of your ACNL town. You can deposit bells in your savings account with the ABD. You can also use the ABD to pay off your home loans. In addition, you can get rewards for putting a lot of bells into your savings account, and you earn interest on the bells in your savings account on the first day of each month.
Earning Interest
You can earn interest on the first day of each month if you use the ABD to deposit at least 200 bells in your savings account. You will receive .5% of the amount that is in your savings account, up to a maximum of 99999 bells per month. You will get a letter in the mail on the first day of the month from the Post Office, telling you how much interest you earned this month.

In other words, multiply the amount in your savings account by 0.005 to find out how much you will earn on the first day of the month. For example, if you have 200 bells in your savings account, you will get 200 × 0.005 = 1 Bell of interest on the first day of the month. 〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰 You can get exclusive items if you deposit 100,000 or more bells into your savings account with the ABD. When you have enough bells in your savings account, you will receive the gift in a letter the next day.
〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰 You can only get one of each gift; you won't get multiple gifts by withdrawing and depositing the same amount over and over. See below for a list of items you can get, along with the number of bells you have to deposit in order to get each item.
