Red.

I had picked most of the good flowers and was about to get up when I saw the familiar face of the Wolf. When I first saw him, I was scared because I thought he would eat me. But now I know that Grandma is the only one who will get eaten.

"Hello, little girl. Where are you heading this fine morning?" The wolf asked smiling through his sharp teeth and eyeing up me and the basket of cake. Food. That's what he wanted.

"Off to my Grandma's house, on the other side of the woods." I replied after bidding him goodbye and walking away.

Come on... focus...

I closed my eyes and concentrated on gaining control, trying to move my muscles inch by inch. But most importantly, I was thinking of 'Jane', or whatever her real name was. She was so beautiful... So real...

My eyes snapped open as I stopped walking I moved my head up and down and looked at my hands. This was it... I thought, I have control... I can escape!

I tried to move my legs before feeling a huge jolt of pain spread all throughout my body. Don't ask me how I knew the feeling, but it felt like I was burning. I slowly lost control of each and every bone in my body. My body tried to withstand but the pain was too much.

Slowly, my body went numb, and I continued my journey to Grandmas house.

Edited.
Don't worry after the next chapter everything will be a lot more fast paced and hopefully longer, I am making them purposely short ❤️
